A lovely dinner at 7th Ave for a birthday celebration. Most of the meals were tasty and well presented. The fish and chips was a bit off the mark - the batter was oily and the fish was not that great. The steak sandwich was a little chewy and so whilst there was some great dishes, there were also a few misses. Perhaps lightly battered fish and chips would be better.

Ordered the chicken casalinga, overcooked chicken in a very simple sauce of heavy cream the bacon and mushroom did nothing for the sauce. The broccolini was honestly the nicest part of the whole dish.Roast potatoes were lost in the sauce and may have been boiled baby potatoes instead. My partner had the crispy skin Barramundi and was equally disappointed with how dry it was service was slow and getting our own drinks from the bar was the go to option.

Great staff and food was lovely. People opposite of us were constantly looking at us which ruined our evening with the kids. Good portion size too. Love the takeaway containers too to take leftovers home. Love the paper on the table for the kids to draw. Really good idea and family friendly. Hope to see and Xmas event where Santa comes to give presents to the kids.

Food was amazing and good value for money. Will probably end up our go to place for birthday celebrations now that the Bayswater Hotel has no buffet and a limited menu. Love our pub grub.

Very friendly staff, quick service and reasonably priced tasty food.

Two people had the fish & chips but unfortunately the fish wasn’t as good as on previous visits. All the other dishes were good and the coffee/tea nice & hot. The service was excellent, lovely lady who took our order was so friendly unfortunately didn’t get her name.

It was a busy night but service and food was great. Will come again.

Family friendly, staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Food was delicious and we didn't have to wait too long. Service was awesome! We didn't have to leave our seats, we were seated and didn't leave our chairs until we were done. Highly recommended going to see for yourself. My family and I had an awesome night! Will definitely go back.

Booked a luncheon for two and it was a pleasant afternoon. Food came out in a reasonable time and was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful

Pork belly was delicious but parmy special wasn’t hot and crumbs were soft. Had obviously been precooked and heated in the microwave. Drink prices good. Overall, definitely try again but maybe not the specials.

The food was amazing and it is a great vibe.

Sorry to say this time our visit to this venue was very disappointing. Calamari was tasteless, Caesar salad had far too much mayonnaise and bacon was tough. Ultimate sausage mash. Again tasteless. Not sure what has happened to this place but this was going to be a long time before we come back.

Accommodated our request for an earlier seating which was great. Unfortunately meals served sporadically about 10 minutes apart. Same with dessert and had to chase up drinks orders. Food quality was very good.

Our visit was great, but was disappointed that a Jeep was parked in front of the disabled parking behind the pub and found it difficult to park there. This should be a no parking area..

Staff are all very switched on! It was a busy lunch time celebration for fathers day and we were served very efficiently!

Waited over half an hour for a drinks order. Asked a waitress where they were and off she went to check. Waited another 10mins then ended up going to the bar and getting it ourselves. The Ceaser salad was literally a garden salad with 3 prawns burnt on one side and maybe 3 to 4 croutons and no dressing which was $30!!! Tasteless and disappointing!!

The staff were very friendly and attentive, the sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and very tender

We had a large group and everyone enjoyed their meal.

7th Ave has always been a regular for us for Birthdays it family dinners, we have recently in the last 6mths moved a but further away so havnt been for a while. Today was ok, but it certainly wasn't the same, new servers not as friendly or efficient passing food across the table, there was 8 of us and only 2 meals at a time came out with quite a delay inbetween, the serves wernt as plentiful as the used to be, and the whole atmosphere just seemed different. We are coming back again next weekend for another get together so hopefully was just an off day.
