An exceptional dinner experience of elevated Vietnamese cuisine. Desserts were fantastic and great value dining overall.

Very nice Closest to authentic Vietnam food Only disappointing thing was only had dumpling meals including prawns… need to offer non seafood options… Plain pork dumplings would be a great option…. Will definitely like to be a return customer…

Foods was nice, staffs are friendly and polite. Place was clean. Floor not sticky like some of the restaurant. Will definitely return in the future

First time here and really happy we came. Have been wanting to try the Bun Cha ever since our trip to Vietnam. This is the only place that advertise it! Friendly service and great flavors.

The food is good, hot enough. Didn’t know that they have some tables at the back. The environment is good, have a lot of space except it was too noisy with low ceiling.

We were told by the waitress that we had to put away our 4yo snack box because no outside / byo food is allowed. We’re genuinely shocked as this is the first restaurant we’re ever been to that does not allow a kid to eat their snack while we’re waited for the food to come.

First visit to 8 Monkeys. Was impressed with service and food. Kan Kong was great. Desserts were delicious. Steak was very tasty. We will come back.

Always good food at this restaurant. we loved the deep fried whole fish and the butter diced beef with potatoes. thr pork skewers were good too.

Clean and spacious area out the back for our group of six and so cool on a 39 degree evening. Staff were attentive, BYO option was good, food choices were delicious. We were happily satisfied with so much food and our own wines for $45 head! Thank you for a great night.

My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Melbourne! The food is modern Vietnamese, very fresh with great tastes. The menu is very extensive and they're always adding new dishes. This time I had the chilli chicken bun bowl and peach iced tea (the drink menu is also very extensive!). We also got takeaways dishes. 8 Monkeys is very consistent and never disappoints. Staff are very efficient and kind too :)

Everything about 8 Monkeys was excellent. The ambiance is bright, fresh and clean. The food a clever combination of traditional and modern Vietnamese. The service was well paced and staff attentive and friendly. Has quickly become a favourite.

Food was nice. Needed a little bit more salt, but that’s coz I like my food a bit saltier and spicier. The Vietnamese pancake dish took a little to come out, but aside from that, everything was great. Staff were super friendly. It’s my third time there.

Great food and service. The venue has 2 areas and is bigger than expected. We had a large group so cash was essential to split the bill. Will definitely come back to try some of the other dishes as the menu is huge.

The deep fried barramundi with the amazing chilli was tasteless. The fried calamari did not resemble the picture in the menu but was quite tasty. The chicken in hot plate was the tastiest.

We had a booking but got there 15 minutes early. The staff were happy to give us a table. The service was great with good food and deserts. Would be happy to come again.

We were amazed at how quick the food came out! We went on a Saturday night- I recommend booking as it was very busy. Bao buns are a must! We got pork chops with rice and beef sizzling plate and they were both delicious
