Excellent food. Really enjoyed the crispy fish salad and injera. Friendly service. Waitress was happy to answer questions we had about African food and it made me keen to try more. Cosy atmosphere that is very family friendly and informal.
As always the food and service here is excellent. Front of house always pleasant and welcoming. We ate there on Friday night and my only negative comment was that we should have been informed when we sat down, that the eftpos machine/credit card facilities were not working.
Love African Taste. The food is great and the service is great. Staff are so friendly! Favourite dish is definitely the cauliflower entree, so yum
Fantastic restaurant. The food is delicious, favourite entrees were Samosa & cramped cauliflower and favourite mains Doro Tibes and African Veg Fasting food. Crispy African-style Fish was yum too. Great friendly service and a lovely vibe. Highly recommend!
Exceptional cooking and averybunique place! Very delicious food - feels like Darien’s is cooking for you. Heartwarming on a cold Melbourne winters night and great personal service.
Always brilliant The meals are very tasty, and the service is incredible. Sunny is a bright ray of sunshine, and always is polite , friendly and humble. The cauliflower entree is my favourite dish.
Great food and very affordable. Service was a little slow with entrees coming out at different times. But otherwise we enjoyed our meal and I'll be returning in the future.
Unique and perhaps unusual menu but something for everyone. Good and timely service. Adequate wine list, including reasonable quality reds from Ethiopia. Value for money.
Ordered the African Enchilada, fasting food & Genfo Arfican Fufu (African gnocci). All was tasty and delicious and backed up by friendly service. What more can you ask for.
Always delicious and always laid back and friendly - we particularly recommend the Genfu African Fufu (with spinach and ricotta0 with lots of yummy injera!
the food was really nice and tasty, good for vegetarians !! Only very slight downside was that the lighting was a little harsh - would be nice if there was some gentle mood lighting, but this doesn't detract from the great food & good service!
A really great little restaurant tucked away in Seddon. Have dined there previously. Always consistently good, friendly and the food has many interesting flavours. Plenty of choices and options. BYO and licensed.
Wasn’t open but still let me book a table. Very disappointing as the t was highly recommended. Closure period wasn’t shown on Facebook either =(
Brilliant, interesting food and Sunny is a great host. Would not hesitate to go back for an awesome meal and African beers. The “gnocchi” is a must!
Beautiful, honest, delicious food and great home cooking vibe. The african style enchiladas and barley gnocchi are both a must. Start with the fried cauliflower.
