The gourmet pizzas are made with premium ingredients like chorizo, artichoke, smoked salmon and roasted pumpkin, as are mains such as the prawn and crab ravioli, chicken marsala, and the exquisite princess pasta made with bacon, prawns, garlic, spring onions, mushrooms and a rich napolitana sauce. White chocolate mousse, creme brulee and the homemade gelati await you at the finish line, that is, if you can still manage to make room for more food (believe us, it’s worth the pain). We had a wonderful time, the staff are amazing, the food was great, and our waiter ,who I can't tell you his name, was very sociable, wish I knew he was funny.
The staff are friendly and very efficient, even to the point of remembering what we usually order. The food, of course, is consistently good. I would highly recommend a visit.
Fantastic experience, food was beautiful, service was fantastic. The premises were clean and nicely decorated, we would have no hesitation to go back, online reservation system was easy too!
staff were friendly and greeted as soon as walked to counter good service and food was really enjoyable so if asked if I would go back again I would say definitely the place was packed so the girls did well to manage all areas of the restaurant
Food was delicious. Started with garlic and cheese pizza bread (which was beautiful - should have got the large but, probably would not have fitted mains in). Had the entree size pollo fettuccine which was ample in size and delicious. Just enough sauce. All wait staff were polite and courteous. Only criticism was that as we were only a table of two we were squashed into the back corner. Table of 5 next to us were noisy and they had to move to let us out from the table?
Great food and service. I had Beef Carpaccio for starters which was excellent. Veal Funghi for main course - the creamy Funghi sauce was deliciously rich and but couldn't eat it all and the veal was cooked to perfection. A bit noisy if you're after a quite dinner but that was because it was pretty full and the accoustics of these old building are not great. Highly recommend Amici for dinner.
Wonderful atmosphere, great service and friendly staff. We were shown straight to our table and offered menus. When we were ready to order we were served promptly. Meals were delicious and generous sized portions. The only thing to be careful of is in winter make sure you ask for a table in the front of the restaurant, although well heated the annex can still be draughty.
The food was spectacular. Unfortunately we were there for a birthday celebration and we were wanting to relax and enjoy dinner. I understand that restaurants get busy but my husbands plate was cleared whilst he still had a mouth full, We were then offered dessert. when we said we would sit for a bit as we we still processing our entree and mains and had only be at the restaurant for 45 mins, Our table was then cleared of all glasses and then senior staff requested to have our table set for 5 as soon as we leave. We then thought it was time for us to leave. a mere 55 mins after arriving. It was extremely amazing food but i would have liked to digest it more slowly.
Brilliant food, service, atmosphere. Pizzas are to die for! Salads so fresh & delicious. The head waiter is a true professional and gentleman which you rarely find in restaurants these days; I marvel at how hard he works & makes sure the staff are taking care of every table. Definitely recommend this place for great Italian!
Great food and friendly service. A wonderful place to spend an evening with good friends. The garlic pizza is a wonderful start to the meal, add some chianti and a filling main (entree size unless you're extremely hungry) and you'll struggle to fit in a classic dessert. Great Italian food.
