Fish and chips .., the deep fried fish just swimming in oil and the air fryer chips were cold. The salad was old and not fresh. So Chef -can you remember your basic first lesson of cooking deep fried foods .-well here is how it goes..,the basic cooking of any deep fried item is temperature-not hot enough you know , then the food absorbs the fat leading to a greasy plate of food. Staff did not show 🙁 concern

Great food, a really nice atmosphere, and genuinely friendly staff made this a great overall experience. The menu had a good variety, and everything we tried was fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour.

Service was lovely. Waitress was very nice but the food was very poor which is a shame because always used to have a great meal at the Amstel. Lamb cutlets were terribly chewy and fatty, fish was dry, chicken scallopini chicken was very dry also .. disappointing

Excellent service, minimal waiting time for our food. Both the tomahawk and the 450g cube roll steaks we had were perfectly cooked, and arrived in a timely manner. Highly recommend this establishment.
