A great night at Andiamo except they forgot to bring one of the main meals and didn’t realise until we asked them about it. Food that did come was delicious.

Food was very nice for most of us, but I found my veal a little dry and tough. Fortunately it was served with a gravy and mushrooms to compensate for the dryness. Prices are not value for money...expensive, especially some of the share plates. Waitress kept bugging us for our orders and we hadn’t looked at menus yet so had to tell her we’d call her when we’re ready. It was a quiet Sunday night and our table of 4 were looking forward to being able to relax with quiet music, however, sadly the music choices played were seriously awful, almost rap-like in spite of diners being in the more mature category. TG it wasn’t on too loud! A positive is one can BYO wine. Corkage is $7 a bottle. We have eaten at the same chain in Rhodes and feel the Rhodes one is more for us than the Abbotsford one.

Friendly staff, great table outside as requested and good food

Disappointed that my wife’s mussels were not as ordered (ordered cream option, served tomato option). Whilst the order was corrected, it meant we weren’t eating entirely together. That said, the staff were delightful and excellent in the manner in which they responded. Overall impression - food good, but overall a bit chaotic, but it was a busy Saturday night.

Background music a little too loud. Personally we prefer soothing Italian music in good taste for dinner conversations.

Very rude when a waiter ran after us on the street asking us if we paid the bill that we are leaving while there was people in the next restaurant (Korean) sitting outside looking at us. When we said the account is paid other people were shaking their head and laughing and said to us don’t they know if it’s paid or not.

Booked for 7 people weeks ago, confirmed verbally and on quando but escorted to a table set for 6 as though we weren’t expected. Booked for 7pm, main course arrived closer to 9pm. Incorrect order arrived taken back with no explanation. By the time we ordered deserts the desired option had run out. We then waited for another 30 minutes for a few scoops of gelato. We were offered a free bottle of red wine which the maître de then tried to pore into a glass already partially filled with another wine. The night felt disorganised, the staff overwhelmed and the communication was appalling we were all very disappointed.

Food was good but nothing special. Service dropped right off after mains were served. Upon checking receipt discovered surcharge for using credit card-not informed prior to payment-drop the surcharge.

Our hostess Christina was fab! So happy with our service.

Eggplant parmigiana was superb. Will definitely be back if this is on the main menu. Service was friendly and attentive.

Food very inconsistent. Chicken Parmigiana tasted like a frozen version of the dish and calamari fritti could have had a handful of greens to break the monotony.

unfortunate the food the restaurant down I have been to other Andiamo restaurants and enjoyed the food experience. Not sure why the Abbotsford restaurant does not have the same standard. Pizza is good other dishes not so nice.
