Great afternoon Tea experience. One of the better ones we have been to.

Would prefer a little more savoury pieces and a few less sweet ones.

Very poor value for money. 2 of the hot savoury options were in sweet pastry cases, that overpowered any filling. The beef sandwich was like something I would put in my daughters lunch box, no filling other than 2 thin slices a tasteless beef. The cream for the scones was on the table when we arrived and had a skin on it, it had been out that long. The mocktail tasted so watered down that I should have saved the calories and ordered a soda water. Not one of the items were memorable or exciting. I wouldn’t waste my money. Stag however were attentive and pleasant.

Booking was easy via Quandoo. Went on a weekday so was a bit quiet. Food and beverage were good though.

A pleasant experience. Not overly efficient service considering how quiet the venue was.

We had the Wedgewood High Tea. No tablecloth. Food wasn’t great. A lot of pastry cases with things put on top. Not enough savory options, a lot of desserts that were far too sweet. Had to chase staff for a clean plate, to order a drink etc. The atmosphere was lovely but wouldn’t go back for High tea again

Food was very average. Probably find a better high tea elsewhere. No chocolate fountain, only an enormous bottle of Nutella. Yuck! Hot food was hardly hot, more like luke warm. Pies were nice, other offerings were all vegetarian (ie. mushroom wrap (gag worthy) and onion tart). Both were very ordinary. Sandwiches were also average. Could possibly make better at the local sandwich shop. Scones were just OK. The best offerings were at the sweets buffet. All in all, don't bother. Very disappointing considering we were at the Langham. Never again!

A lovely afternoon for mums birthday, unfortunately the staff were not up to the standard of the venue. Very polite but we had to ask to have plates removed and milk to come out at the same time as the tea. Just little things but when you go to an event like this in a venue like this its what is expected. Im putting it down to the day however as Christmas lunch last year was exceptional

Lackluster. Langham social media certainly portrays their venue as high end. The food (apart from the scones) was nice enough but the rest was far from the luxury experience I expected. I’m glad to say I have gone because I would rather be disjointed over afternoon tea and I know now not to bother with any other special event and certainly not to splurge for a New Years Eve stay. The service was more like that of a cafe (where are they when you need the even though it wasn’t busy) and there was an ant on our table also.

very lovely surroundings, pleasant staff which makes the experience .High tea was scrumptious with my only criticism being the scones..far to dry and crumbly,,perhaps they should not bring them out until the end instead of having them sit in a napkin ,,l noticed the same on my last visit in November,,

The surroundings were lovely however it didn’t live up to our expectations or its reputation. We were disappointed with the limited variety of food and the service left a lot to be desired. We didn’t think it was value for money :(

The staff were excellent as usual but the new policy not to replenish savoury items is a step backwards. This was always the difference between the Langham and the other high teas available. The Langham were always generous with their servings.

Great ambience, lovely food and free flow wine. Only slight downer is the state of the seating.... Very dirty old leather, made the place feel a bit run down.

What we thought would be a lovely mother/daughter treat, wasn’t what we got. Firstly, we were seated in the far corner where we were easily forgotten about by staff. Then the food arrived which did look lovely, however how can you have a high tea without being served a cup of tea to go along with the food. We waited at least 30 mins after the food was dropped to finally be served a luke warm cup of tea. Thinking we would save the scones (a staple to a high tea) till last as we were expecting them to be delicious- unfortunately didn’t pay off. They were horrible! Frozen scones heated up in a microwave that once cooled, were hard enough I could have knocked someone out with. Absolutely disappointed.. And the worst thing about the whole experience, staff couldn’t have cared less that we were there, never came over to us see how things were going, take our plates away, offer us another tea- not even to give us the bill. We ended up leaving and going to the bar to pay. Given where this place is I honestly expected way better service and food than we got. And even after we left the bar( about 10 mins) our table still hadn’t been cleared (we could see it from stairs).. #noattention #notworththemoney

We were very happy having the area at the end of the restaurant for our party of 20. It was good being able to mix and mingle between the three tables. overall a very pleasant afternoon.

This is my fourth visit over the years, but sadly although it was a very enjoyable time it wasn't the Wow that it always has been before. We found the service a bit lacking... we had to chase up someone to bring us tea and coffee 3/4 hour in... they had removed our champagne glasses, however no-one no one had stopped by to offer us tea or coffee. Also the centre cake bar, was rather sparse compared to other occasions and although the offerings were very, very good. There were empty plates and not as many different varieties as usual. I am sure this was just a bad day... because service and what is offered is usually Wow and amazing. I will still return...because I love the Langham.

I also want to mention, I thought the new Wedgewood menu was delicious! All the items were so yummy! I have been to the Langham for 8 high teas so far and this one is by far the best! Every time we come to the little high teas it gets better. Well done!

We have had many visits before, and always look forward to the high tea. This time unfortunately our high tea coincided with a Pepper pig high tea. The website unfortunately didn’t advise us of this, to us a high tea is a elegant luxury treat, our kids have grown and it’s not something we are used too or can tune out
