Staff, were friendly,food first class,five star best rest in south australia. Good decor good views but most important was how welcome one felt from the time you entered until leaving will go back regularly

We loved this place the first time we went here - there was definitely something special about the food and the atmosphere. A year later, we took the opportunity of having another lunch on our way South, and it was even better than the first time. So many delicious options on the menu, lots of gluten-free options. The food really is exceptional - this is one of my favourite SA restaurants. Highly recommended.

Excellent friendly service, exciting food, nice location and very comprehensive selection of wine. Over all a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The complementary and unexpected potato dish with our mains was a very nice touch. Would recommend highly to friends.

We had a 1.30 booking and our main course was served just before 3 p.m. We had a small shared platter before thank goodness. The fish was well cooked but unfortunately three of our party of six chose the kangaroo and it was over cooked and very tough indicating that it had been badly cooked and not rested. This was disappointing as we had taken interstate visitors to show off the region.

Very enjoyable lunch with a small diverse menu so not overwhelming, lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food courses were well spread and delicious and the service was personalised and friendly 😀

A pleasant surprise was had. Good food and friendly staff. The surrounds create an inviting atmosphere. Well worth going to in an area spoilt for choice.

From the moment we stepped into the building we went WOW!!!! lovely decoration, fresh and clean. It was a pleasant surprise for the 6 of us The food was great and the staff was professional and friendly. We'll be back!!!!

My husband, friends and I really enjoyed our meal before "The Day on the Green". We chose the $60 3 course meal and breads which were yummy. Next time, we would omit the breads as the main course was very filling. We waited a long time for our affogato desserts (which were a bit short on icecream), and had to cancel our coffee as it did not arrive by the time we needed to leave.

Lovely food, generous portion sizes and beautiful setting. Using the Entertainment card made it affordable and extremely worthwhile. The 3 course deal was fantastic. Would definitely have lunch here again.

The restaurant was fine it was the reservation that was the let down - Au Pear never received it but we got there in the end.

As always Au Pear gives wonderful service and the food is prepared and presented with love, it is obvious that all staff members are well led by Muff and Sam and the setting is lovely, well worth a visit!

The food was interesting. Had the tasting menu which featured the seafood platter and shared main (beef fillets, lamb leg brick, and twice cooked pork belly). The absolute cherry was the dessert. Only issue is mains were slow to serve after entrees.

Great meal and wonderful lovely welcoming service. I would recommend Au Pear to everyone. It was a very good meal, atmosphere and enjoyable. Go and enjoy the Chef's "just feed me" degustation!

Service food were excellent topped off with bread & pea & ham soup at no cost. Nice for chef to come out after we finished our meal to see if all ok. Michael

Excellent service and delicious food and an interesting regional wine list. Muff was a perfect host and Samanthi was warm, attentive and unobtrusive with her service. A great place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Thank you.
