Staff were attentive and friendly . We had the spit roast of the day which was absolutely delicious

We have been enjoying Baccamato for over 6 years and it continues to be one of the best restaurants in Sydney - great food with regular new and well thought out dishes, terrific service from a fabulous team led by Carol and good value. Can't ask for more than that.

I had the prawn risotto and it was so salty, I could hardly eat it and I don't mind a bit of salt! The prawns were chopped up so fine it resembled a thick soup with no garnish to make it look in any way appealing. For the money, I was expecting maybe some truffle oil or saffron & garlic and most certainly whole prawns with perhaps a lovely grilled prawn on top with some finely chopped parsley. I'm from Melbourne and perhaps spoilt for good Italian food. My friend's dinner was fine, nothing to rave about! Robyn

It's a great little place with sensational service but every single dish had waaaay too much salt. All of us complained that the subtle flavours were drowned in salt, and it's not the first time.

We had a lovely time, the food was very tasty and the service prompt and friendly. We had the lunch time special which was excellent value. I noticed that the other meals weren't cheap. We also went on Friday lunch and it was very quiet, concrete floors so might be noisy if the restaurant was full.

I have walked past there a few times and wanted to try. Glad I did. The staff and service was good humoured and courteous, the food was delicious and my dining partner and I felt we'd had a real treat lunching there. Very nice set up.

Excellent as usual. This time with just the two of us we did a share plate entree and then shared the rib eye steak with a side of Brussels sprouts. This was accompanied with a reasonably priced Italian red. How good is that.
