Bad Hombres

Loved the vegan menu - just not a lot of different choices. Plus the nachos (whilst vegan and tasty) was extremely expensive at around $27.

We were very happy to find a great vegetarian Mexican restaurant in Sydney.

This place has amazing food! It is a little expensive but well worth it. This place is always very busy and so a reservation is a must.

Overly loud, stale chips, slow service, then rushed when kitchen closed.

Cold food, no flavour, open kitchen and didn't hear any cooking going on.

It isn’t cheap, but everything is delicious! I especially loved the eggplant tacos.

The menu and food are great, it’s so awesome there’s a vast selection for vegans like us. However what let the experience down was the service. Staff were very closed off, it was hard to get the attention and when we did order things took a while. We had to wait two courses to get our drinks and were generally not made to feel we were welcome. A shame for a place with a good menu.

Not much flavor, rushed service. In and out in 20 minutes

Our group was little late which was unfortunate but we stuck to our time limit of 2 hours. We ordered drinks and some tacos to start with and sharing plate and sides to follow; and said we would order possibly more..we got the tacos and the cauliflower but not the sides and they kept messing up the drink orders and the smell of dirty deep fryer was overwhelming. My share was $62 for 2 cocktails, 3 small soft tacos and third of a cauliflower dish that used to be a whole cauliflower rather than half that was presented tonight. It felt little steep to be honest. I also felt embarrassed to have told my non vegan friends about this restaurant that I have visited multiple times and liked in the past but food has really gone downhill since the last chef. Such a pity..we don’t have too many good vegan restaurant in this city.. I hope you’ll fix it and bring more talent and flavour in the kitchen.

Food was good, although we placed a booking and had to wait about 15/20 minutes for a couple on a long share table to finish there food as we awkwardly hovered. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom. It was a Saturday night around 7:30 so they were busy and probably under staffed.

We turned up at 5.20 for a 5.30 appointment. We were curtly asked "Have you booked ?" We said 'Yes, for 5.30". We were rudely told to come back at 5.30. We should have been asked to sit down for 10 minutes, bought a drink and enjoyed ourselves. Instead, we booked another restaurant. I would give this mob a great big miss for their rudeness.

The food was amazing and the staff were great. Service was fast and overall I felt it was great value for money. My only gripe is that the stools were a little uncomfortable

Bad Hombres did it again! Every dish I try is a pure delight.

It was hot and a bit stuffy. food was nice but a bit too much fried offerings. Desserts were fabulous.

The overall experience was good. There was a small issue with the entrée, however, it was quickly replaced, an apology was extended from the Manager on duty. Upon receiving the bill, it was a nice surprise to see that the entrée was complimentary. I would re-book here again and recommend "Bad Hombres" to anybody seeking a fantastic food experience.

Drinks were overpriced for quantity and quality, atmosphere was frantic and music was inappropriate for the setting, food was bland and lifeless. expectations weren’t met. The nachos were okay tho.

We got seated at the communal dining table in the middle of the room which was actually pretty spacious. The food was great. I would return.

Amazing! Such good value for the $35 set menu for big family of 5+ people. Speedy service, served in less then an hour and everything was absolutely delicious & hot! A bit hot inside, maybe increase the air con. Will visit again for sure

Had a great time at Bad Hombres. It is a small and intimate restaurant with good food designed to share. I also liked their cocktails.
