Bada Bing Cafe

I had booked a table but was left waiting at the front desk without any member of staff acknolwedging me - almost as if it was beneath them to come over and see what I wanted.. Luckily the staff member who actually served our food was delightful and because of that and the standard of the food we will go back

Very disappointing. We have been regular customers for years and had reserved a table. We arrived to find our reservation had been ignored so we went elsewhere to eat.

Food was okay, I wanted fruit salad and it sounded like it was possible, but then a bowl of açai arrived (with fruit on top) and it was not what I wanted, and therefore it wasted a lot of money on something I wouldn’t eat. Also wasn’t aware of the surcharge and it became a really expensive experience. Maybe the website needs a warning to ensure people who book online are aware

A very pleasant eating experience. Our table of 11 received their meals around the same time. The delicious food was enjoyed by all. Wait staff were very efficient considering the large crowd in the restaurant. Will definitely visit again.

We had a group of 12 on a Sunday Morning Breakfast and the service was fast and efficient with that many women and no complaints I reckon that's a good indicator.

They did not have our booking and had to move some other diners to accommodate our group. Two of our group ordered Thai Beef Salads and both complained that they were not up to standard as they have had it there on several occasions when it had been very good. To their credit, the cafe did take 50% off the dish for each of them. I do think they could do with an extra couple of staff at busy times. I

Great service and great food on fathers Day even with special dietary requests

I have a son who is vegan as well as a son who is vegetarian and it is difficult to find suitable cafes that cater for all of us. The menu is great although there are no vegan desert options. We have been to Bada Bing twice this year and have enjoyed each visit.

My small avocado smash was just the right size and yummy, the poached egg was cooked perfectly. My friend always likes soup and he enjoyed his soup right down to the last spoon scrape.

Great staff, very helpful. Prices have noticeably gone up. :(

Have been a regular to Bada Bing for ever….. Only major criticism I have there is the acoustics….not sure one can really change it due to so much glass. Still it doesn’t stop me going 🤗

Booking was easy, service prompt and meals were large servings with plenty of variety on menu.

I had scrambled eggs and bacon. The bacon was cooked reasonably well but the eggs were very bland. Perhaps a little seasoning would’ve helped with a sprinkle of chives to brighten things a little?

My group of friends and I come to Bada Bing regularly and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the pleasant staff.

Lovely atmosphere, great service and a really nice menu. I had a spinach and ricotta filo pastry with a beautiful greek salad on the side.

Restaurant is a wonderful location, seating spacious, noisy but full, made error with one of the orders but fixed quickly.

I had the misfortune to have the worst iced coffee ever. It was bland and not cold. I did ask for not too many ice blocks as they tend to fill the glasses with ice. There was about 2 tspns of ice cream. Spoke to male waiter. The cake I had Berry and Ricotta cake was sloppy; didn’t seem to be cake just sloppy ricotta. Will never go there again.

Succulent Squid, great atmosphere, fab and upbeat service. We had a lovely lunch that lasted well into the afternoon. Will be back soon.

Great service. Food really tasty. Cafe reasonably busy with lunchtime crowd. Wait time for our meals was not too long and there was a steady flow of dishes coming from the kitchen. A little bit of delay clearing our plates and checking if we wanted tea or coffee (we had to catch the eye of the wait staff) but otherwise overall everything was really good

I didn't get my bacon with my breakfast so had to wait so because of that my bacon was not fully cooked. Also ask for honey with my tea and they put in directly into my cup so next time will request it to be separate in a little contain so I can control the amount and have enough for the tea cups. Loving the need tea pot holders. Over great as always.

Order was incorrect. Even though I informed the waiter that my order was incorrect twice in separate times in a nice way possible I was still criticised by the waiter for my attitude. This criticism I felt was not necessary as it ruined my time at the restaurant. More so when the waiter had the order incorrect twice. When asked if the dish had been reheated or made new with the correct ingredients, the waiter changed his mind twice on the same question when all I was just wanting clarification.

Had a very nice breakfast, service was not as good as normal though.

It would’ve been amazing if my online reservation had translated to your booking system. Luckily we still got a table but it wasn’t outside like we’d booked. Food was lovely, atmosphere very ambient and service was great. Will go again for sure.

Food was delicious 😋 but the service was instant initially, but we did sit for a long time, and had to call staff for attention after main course.

My Fish stew was amazing. My husband had the Chicken masala could have done with a bit more seasoning lacked a bit of flavour. It’s early day a few teething problem with wait staff knowledge of service. My Prosecco came out in a plastic glass. Over all will go back for another meat

Our visit was for a group of 5 for lunch. The offerings were varied, of great value for money and cannot complain about the service. Will visit again.

The in house service and the food was good. The booking process continues to be an issue. On line booking doesn't translate to request on attendance. Calling the number to book is also frustrating, with poor phone line and abrupt end of call.

Food was delicious with generous serves. Sat inside and was quite noisy. Staff were very nice and helpful.

We have been regular, Thursday morning breakfast participants, the new owner needs to train the staff to insure an orderly service is imperative, coffee before eating, serving food in order rotation, not how the chef decides to cook. We observed 5 tables being served their meals before us, when they arrived after us. The Venue is excellent. Beware the clients might notice the service is not what it has been in the past.

The food was great value and tasty. I asked if the table could be wiped, and the waitperson said the stains were permanent marks. That didn't explain the crumbs and food grease, so I cleaned it myself. Asked for extra napkins at one point but was promptly forgotten. The venue looks better on the website. I wouldn't rush back there.

Greeting was bad as an argument ensued whether we had made a reservation or not. Actually made online and also with a phone call. Many tables not used so fail to see why the waitress was so pushy. Service very slow. Ordered two glasses of Prosecco. After 20 minutes partner went up to the counter to ask where they were. My fish was nicely cooked but the duck shanks in Nasi goring were dried out and tough and the dish just wasn’t up to par. We will not be going back.

Good food and generous serving sizes. The fried squid and garlic bread were delicious as was the seafood plate. Gnocchi a bit too soft and sauce was too sweet for my liking. Otherwise a really good cafe by the lake. Will return for another try.

Not really one to complain, but I believe people need to know. Four of us, I had mushroom brochette - it was cold and dry when delivered. Another had chilly scrambled eggs - just OK. but also cold when delivered,. Another had porridge - very stodgy and could only ate a few mouthfuls. Last person - enjoyed hers Overall it was a disappointment and wont be back.
