We love visiting the Belgian Beer Cafe in Melbourne CBD. Food is great quality and well priced and the beer on tap is 2nd to none. Great location with nice views to trees across the road from the outdoor dining area and venue is easy access from Flinders Street Train Station. The staff are very friendly and venue great atmosphere.

Amazing food and the waiter whose name I did not catch was just exceptional

I’ve eaten at Belgian Beer Cafe over a dozen times in the last few years. This was, by far, the BEST meal I’ve enjoyed here: the service was prompt and attentive, the food (especially the mussels) was AMAZING. And the prices are very reasonable. So of course, I’ll be back!

Overall as fantastic as usual, but the schnitzel used to have the salad separate from the schnitzel and chips. As someone with a complex eating disorder, this was so great for me because I could just give it to someone else. Instead this time, the salad was on the plate and touching everything else, which meant I couldn't eat half of my meal as I had to consider it contaminated. I'm very disappointed that this was changed randomly. Additionally, the schnitzel was oddly cooked this time. It was oddly soft and wet at some parts and weirdly firm at others. Aside from this, though, the BbC was as fantastic as always.. The staff were very attentive and helpful, and extremely kind. The garlic bread continues to be amazing, and the beer choices are still the best in Melbourne.

Took in a group of 8 for a work lunch at short notice. No problems getting us in. Wait staff were extremely attentive. And, most importantly, all the meals came out together and were excellent.

Have been here a few times now and always can depend on the prompt and reliable service of the food and drinks, especially when we are time constricted with a concert or function.

Will not dine there again on a Sunday evening. Why a surcharge just because it’s Sunday - no wonder it wasn’t very busy
