We had lunch at the cafe before a show at the arts centre. We had a group of 6. The menu was great and service good. The mussels were particularly nice.

Was great for a Sunday night - quiet enough to have a conversation, great service, drinks and food. Thanks!

Food & beverages are great at this venue. The noise level of the music that was pumping was a little too loud. When you need to strain to hear what the person next to you is saying and need to raise your voice to be heard by the person next to you is a fair indicator that the music volume needs to be dialled down a bit.

The fries were delicious, the mayo had that authentic Belgian taste. The menu is 90% not Belgian, lots of German, Asian, Austrian and Australian mixed in but everything was delicious. Good choice of Belgian beers, especially the Trappists. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Wish the beef stew came as a main course. They have it as a main course in a pie, but I’m sorry guys as a Belgian I can’t eat it that way, even though it’s probably delicious 😋

Main courses were tasty and of hearty flavour. Having experienced true Belgian waffles in Brussels , the ones in the cafe were a slight disappointment, lack of fluffiness and flavour.

Steak was tough and chewy! Staff were pleasant. The wine list was very minimal.

great space and atmosphere. service was a bit slow and overall our group enjoyed our dinner. I had the mushroom burger which was a generous size with a small side of chips and onion rings.

Trivia was good fun, food was tasty though neither huge serves nor great value. That said, probably what is to be expected for Southbank. Good choice of beers, though not as much on tap as I perhaps expected, extensive choice of bottled beers.

Made a reservation and got seated at the worst table looking at a wall (place was empty) and the chairs are terrible uncomfortable. No leffe beer on tap so technically not a Belgium beer cafe without this. If I new I would not have made the trip from Waverley. Got mussel pot this is good but The fries were terrible . Small fries and overdone . Seamed to me that they were frozen fries and I got the bottom of the bag.

The mussels were delicious but the bread was stale and the chips came out still a bit frozen so they had to be cook again
