Staff were attentive, however our cocktails took a long time to come out.. one by one (3 of us dined). The food was great, however we asked for more bread for our dips (and received two slices only, not 3). We were happy to pay for the extras! Apart from that, everything was great.

On first walking in I felt the restaurant was a bit drab and lacked any atmosphere. The service was good we were attended to quickly as it wasn't busy. The food was fine I wouldn't say it was amazing. It just lacked the love. Overall an ok experience but won't be going out of my way to be going back.

Food was good staff were very helpful and cheerfully served our meals, very pleasant evening.

Service was a bit slow but there were only two very young ladies working the whole restaurant doing everything. They were very pleasant but needed to be more aware of the patrons needs.

There are some issues in this restaurant with the level of staff's training. For example, the waitress did not show initiative in taking our order, and had to be prompted. Had she been more proactive, the general level of service and customer attentiveness would have been higher. When paying the bill, we were not asked about our overall impression and whilst this wasn't compulsory, such an inquiry would have elevated the overall customer experience, showing a concern for optimal customer service and satisfaction.

Friend get together. Was a really loverly place to have lunch. Staff were loverly meals were nice and good value for money. Evan though it was on very busy street corner could not hear the traffic outside. I would go back. Try it out.

Large serves of food, great dessert list, great drinks list too. The two young ladies serving us did an amazing job. Very prompt and friendly. Can't wait to go back again

The food is always lovely at Bensons but I was a bit disappointed that the corn and zuccini fritters were actually slightly overdone muffins this time. Please go back to actual fritter style.

Food in general was very tastey and showed some creativity. Wagyu beef meat balls tasted good. Prawns had a bit of spiciness, which was nice. Mussels were not as fresh as they could be and tasted a bit rubbery

The food was delicious and Spanish dessert was brilliant. Tables a bit crowded together. Waiters attentive but not over-whelming. We will certainly go there again.

We are regulars here and enjoy the food ands atmosphere . Saturdays experience wasn't great and while it was busy , they were understaffed and struggled to get the orders out. One of our group didn't get his order taken and we had to leave for another event he was still waiting for his order an hour after arriving. Please its a great cafe just make sure you have staff available to meet the need. Another area of improvement is to train the waiters to repeat back the orders when taken to be clear they are correct as this would remove any doubt to what was ordered- thanks

This place has a lovely atmosphere with helpful, cheerful staff as well as delicious food and made for a lovely evening with an old friend.

Really nice little restaurant located right next to Puffing Billy. Great breakfasts and their juices are amazing. Fast and friendly service and easy parking. Great homemade cakes too.

The selection food was good, service is a little slow, staff wery friendly. The only disappointment was fish and chips were cold and fish over cook, sticky date pudding was absolutely lovely.
