Bensons Cafe & Restaurant

They provide good service, nice coffee - but the servings are a bit on the large size especially for breakfast and it can be seen as a waste of good food. Nice location.

Food good, service very good, décor good. Atmosphere negated because we were the only patrons on the Tuesday evening. We booked early for 6.30 PM to avoid the crowd that did not did not turn up.

Service not great tonight. Forgot kids drinks, didn't bring ordered dessert, and tried to charge us too much. Food was nice, without being exciting. Might give it a miss for a while now.

Had a lovely meal of spanish mussels. Not a big meal but very tasty and certainly filled the spot. Recommend you try them.

We have a beautiful meal it was good value for money it was a little warm in there they did not have a air con on or a fan running but all in all it was very good

Fantastic friendly service as usual. This wasn’t our first time going for brunch and it definitely won’t be last. A great location near Puffing Billy.

4 different breakfast selections and 4 satisfied guests. The service was attentive and nothing was too much trouble either for us or for the doggy with guest outside. Our waitress had the most lovely smile and friendly manner which certainly added to our experience.

As always our food was delicious and the service without fault. Bensons is in a great position to watch the passing traffic as you relax with your meal and a glass of wine. Always our favourite local restaurant for a special evening.

Friendly staff and lovely food. The menu is quite varied so plenty to choose from. It was a bit quiet, so closed rather early. Would rector those in the area.

The staff were very friendly and sweet, courteous, obliging and always smiling. Even took the time and effort to engaged in a friendly conversation. Food was very nice and of reasonably proportion. It was DEFINITELY a great value for money with the Groupon deal. i would definitely go back to try the other items on their menu

Lovely fresh produce superb coffee friendly helpful staff with good service skills. Tapas good sized serves. Plenty of other menu choices. Would highly recommend to all.

very pleasant ambience and great dishes for the kids. Nice alcohol selection too, and the chicken was delicious. My husband's steak was exactly what he ordered too, which can be rare to find.

The food was very yummy, the staff were very helpful and the meals came out without waiting too long. A lovely atmosphere. we come each year before our retreat at the Belgrave convention Lodge and they cope well with a group of 10 or so. As far as noise we were the ones chatting a lot and being early there weren't many there, but the noise doesn't seem to echo so still fairly quiet.

The food was delicious and the coffee was well made. Meals were also a good size, definitely did not leave hungry. Would absolutely recommend :)

Food was fantastic, service was great. I booked on-line & they forgot to put it in their book, so lucky they had a table available. Also toilets could do with a good clean.

The service and food was good.We were surprised that we were told at 9.00 that chef had gone home and the coffee facility would be no longer available. The web site says open till late well 9,00 is not really late

Fantastic food, nice staff, didn't give full marks as split system in front of us was not working properly and it was like being in a sauna. I like the warmth l, but the boys were too hot as it was blowing on them. Otherwise happy with the fine dining.

Bensons in Belgrave is a quaint cafe.The service is excellent and both our waiters were extremely friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend this cafe and are sure to visit again.

Beautiful Food & Drinks. Went with a large group and everyone was satisfied. Staff were wonderful. We are local and it was our first visit. Will definitely return again.

Beautiful corner cafe that feels open, light and spacious. Great coffee and a fantastic menu. I had the chicken salad which was amazing. Nothing like i thought it would be. Definately a go to place now.

Nice food, good customer service. Pitty that they haven't done anything about the wasp situation outside... wasps ruin the outside dining experience. We were warned about them, but would have been better if the issue was fixed.
