Really great food and fabulous European beers. The staff were really friendly. We arrived late because of a delay in our flight and the staff very accommodating and kept the kitchen open for us. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Very nice place. We were a group of 6 and had the big table at the back which was beautifully set and very comfortable. We had a great night and the food was excellent.

Very good food but not so good service! We had to wait enormously long for our drinks and the order was put wrong ti kitchen. But Boss himself came to apologise, ...

Traditional feeling Austrian restaurant and bar...we took a family group of six to celebrate a birthday. Beig of Austrian heritage, just loved the food and atmosphere. Super friendly and attentive staff. Great night!

Overall we had a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The atmosphere, food and selection of beers were great. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Cannot find a fault.

I had the veal Wiener Schnitzel for dinner, it was tender, perfectly crumbed and went down very well together with the included Potato Salad and side of Pomme Fritz (fries). Everyone at our table finished all their food and cleaned their plate, the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and overall it was an amazing meal. We will definitely be back again to try some of the other meals and desserts.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and best of all, delicious food. The pork belly was tender, and the apple strudel was a great finish. Nice selection of schnapps too.

The BIERKELLER exceeded our expectations, providing a most enjoyable evening at a reasonable cost. The menu surprised us with a most interesting range of choices, which will demand our return visits in future. The friendly and knowledgeable service was always there when needed without fuss or delay. This experience will long be remembered by us and we have no hesitation in recommending the BIERKELLER to all our friends and anybody looking for the best Austrian cuisine in Australia.

Great food, and good beer options on tap. Had the platter to share, which was super nice. Will definitely be back here again in the near future.

Food is some of the best german/austrian in melbourne, staff friendly and the beer so good! I highly recommend to all my friends and family

We had a ball there! The food was very good. The service was excellent. The venue has great atmosphere - no complaints from any of us 4 that where there on the day.

Most importantly, there was delicious food! Mains were large portions. My husband and son split a tasting board-- perfect taste of many menu items for the people who can't pick just one. Everyone loved it and enjoyed tasting each other's favourites. We had attentive service. The gentleman we assumed was the manager, was shocked that our youngest singlehandedly finished his sausage pinwheel and challenged him to come back and eat an entire pork knuckle. Challenge accepted! Fun atmosphere, too. Will definitely be back!

Poor food, would not return. The Austrian patter was not very tasty and very fatty. Atmosphere was okay and obviously tried to keep in the Austrian/German vain but much better places to go

Friendly service and a menu containing many classic Austrian dishes. A selection of Austrian beers on tap. Be warned: the serving sizes are very large. Consider sharing a smaller number of dishes.
