If you’re in for breakfast, tuck into Melbourne brunch staple, avocado smash topped with feta, lime, mixed nuts, poached eggs and chilli relish, or go for the Billy’s Central classic egg and bacon focaccia with your morning espresso. And don’t worry, we tested the coffee, it definitely passes the Melbourne standard.

What about later on though? If you’re part of the lunch or late-night crowd, Billy’s Central has got you sorted as well. Kick things off with a serve of the flash-fried calamari coated in rice flour (so it’s gluten-free) and served with chipotle aioli and lime; apple cider onion rings and salmon cakes served with sweet corn puree and lemon. Then, if you’re after a salad we love the super salad filled with crispy kale, quinoa, spinach feta and nuts. While those with a hearty appetite should keep an eye out for the fully loaded chicken burger served with handcut chips, trio of beef, pork and Jamaican chicken sliders and the lamb risotto.
