Blackbird Cafe knows you don’t wanna do things by halves at Sydney’s Cockle Bay Wharf, so they lay out the full spread. Here, it’s about throwing away inhibitions and outside worries and indulging in pleasures. Blackbird offer plenty of those. If drink is your poison, the funky bar manned by numerous mixologists is where you want to be, sipping on classic cocktails or new creations while enjoying tasty tapas like arancini balls, salt & pepper squid or toasted goat’s cheese. Settle in and take on something more substantial from Blackbird’s modern Australian menu, like amazing stone baked pizzas, artisan pastas or succulent meat and seafood mains, though vegetarian and gluten-free options abound so nobody will be left out. Its Darling Harbour location and memorable food mean Blackbird hums constantly, so book a table in advance to ensure you don’t miss out.
Great vibe. Booking was very smooth. View of vivid show was perfect. Busy but staff worked hard but wait time was fine. A good allround cafe
Service was great... Food average diner variety. I think the Arancini risotto balls may have actually had frozen veges in them... Not good. Giod vibe
Great location and amazing service, they even catered to my request of a vegetarian burger which was a bun with salad and cheese. Only criticism was it is too expensive for basic food eg. Pizza $28
