The Bombay potatoes tasted re-heated. Did not taste freshly made. I was disappointed in the flavour, they were HOT but not soft or succulent. The almond lamb had a tasty sauce and most of the meat was tender but some pieces were hard and didn't seem to be freshly cooked either. The papadams were lovely and the lassi was nice. The service was good. Tables were way too close together ; we had a noisy group only a very short distance away. No chance to have a private discussion. This used to be a good place to eat and meet friends. I think the owners have become greedy and are taking shortcuts and trying to squeeze too many people in. I won't be returning.

I went to Blu Ginger with some friends for lunch and we had the lunch special banquet. The banquet represented great value for money and the food was fantastic! The included entrees were great as were the selections of breads. There was more than enough food as we took the leftovers home. Service was also top shelf. Will definitely be back.

Service was slow. Had to get up and keep asking for the staff to come to the table for order. Food is good but service is slow.

Our dishes were all good. There were a few more adventurous dishes that I'd like to try next time with less fussy kids around, so it's definitely worth coming back.

We had an enjoyable night but thought the food wasn’t up to the standard we’ve had there before - the butter chicken was quite watery, with only a few small pieces of chicken lost in a thin, soupy sauce. The naan and rice were good & the service was fine.

Waited for 35mins for Mains after finishing entrees, overall pleasant.

Amazing quality Indian food! Wish they didn't get rid of the deconstructed samosas but ah well. Food is super good and I always roll out of there with a food coma. Staff are super friendly and accommodating for my baby who requires a high chair, kept dropping things on the floor etc.. Great quantity of each dish and perfect spice levels for all people 😁

The group of 14 opted for the 2 course banquet. Plenty of food and very tasty for a reasonable price. Staff were helpful. Downside was the surcharge for using a card - it was over $10 extra. Very disappointing. Note: no split bills.

Had to ask staff to order more drinks as didn't come back to table, food was really nice, however mild was definitely not mild so may need to work on reducing the heat a little when a customer says mild general means not much spice so I found it difficult to eat all my meal but I know I would have enjoyed so much better

The meal was very tasty and the service was pleasant and efficient. I ordered their Express lunch, which provided great options and represented good value for money.

Dinner for 8, buffet meal was very good selection of entrees and mains. Hostess was attentive to our drink selections. A great night out.

Food great. Service aloof. Cashier gave us the bill, which we paid. Staff chased us down the street and announced that we had forgotten to pay. Returning, we discovered the cashier had given us another tables bill. When pressed with ours we paid it, the extra $15. Not arguing that we should have paid for the meal that we had. Being chased down the street for $15…announcing we’d not paid our bill…through no fault of ours….needs a little rethink as to how that looks for you Blu Ginger. But…food was great. Next time I will make sure they are happy that they’re giving us the right bill.

Ordered butter chicken and lamb saag. Both were great. The naan bread was crispy and not greasy. Service could’ve been a bit faster but it was a very busy Saturday night

Majority of food was excellent alas the lamb shank was smaller than usual, very little meat on the bone. Happy with the service and venue.

The food was well prepared. We had a banquet, plenty of food for everyone to share. The service was excellent, the staff checked regularly to see if we needed anything.

Great curries. A bit of a delay with main course - some sort of mix up - but received an apology and a complimentary dessert.

We ordered 2 curries, 2 servings of rice and 2 servings of naan which was just the right amount for 4 people as the curries were definitely sharing sizes. The restaurant was busy for a Saturday night but with the drinks coming out first the wait wasn't too long for the food. Overall a great place for dinner!

Had a fabulous time and the food and service was superb

I ordered Malai Kofta. Kofta means fried balls. I ended up with sausage shapes in the sauce. I sent it back. The cook came and remonstrated with me about what kofta is and isn't. I ordered Dahl Makhani as a replacement meal and it was spicier than usual. Not my first time at this restsurant. It was my favourite Indian restaurant in Canberra. Clearly it didn't pay to let the cook know I didn't enjoy the first meal.
