Beautiful restaurant with moody lighting. The service was attentive, yet not overbearing. Expected a bit more from the food, considering the prices and competition in the area.

The food was brilliant. It was well priced. The service was amazing and the ambiance of the place was exceptional. I would highly recommend this and will be back again. I cant believe i live din Pyrmont and never visted this place.

Beautiful food, service was good besides one unhelpful waitress who even rolled her eyes behind out back when she thought we weren't looking. The crab entree was amazing!

Excellent food. The atmosphere felt like walking into a school hall when we first entered. Could do with some soft music maybe? But the service and the delicious food more than made up for it.

Fantastic service and amazing delicious food! Everything was brilliant with the exception that we were there on a hot night and sadly the Restaurant is not air conditioned. We will definitely go back on a cooler evening!

We were made very welcome, there was a good wine selection and the banquet was delicious. It was the first visit for our guests but not for us, we have dined there many times . Our guests enjoyed it very much.

Blue Eye Dragon is without doubt, the finest Taiwanese restaurants I've ever experienced. This is not purely a Taiwanese experience, it is also the best Asian fusion in Sydney. I will be going again and again. Thank you to Muriel and her wonderful team.

We had dinner on Friday night, just 3 of us, and next time we will ask more folks to come with us so that we can try a lot more dishes! We tend to share many of the smaller dishes so we can taste the many flavours. Highly recommend. Staff very friendly and helpful and if Muriel is on the floor she will always stop for a chat to make sure you are happy with everything.

Sensational food & great service. Highly recommend. The food comes out quick and the banquet for 4 was perfect. The Cruspy chicken and he eye fillet was a favorite.

Outstanding service; delicious food. Blue Eye Dragon consistently excellent! The beef pancakes are so good. And the Prawns in Bloody Plum Sauce are a must. Jimmy running the floor is so attentive and always great to see owner Muriel. Exceptional value!

This was not our first visit. The selection of dishes covers a range of tastes, the service is friendly and helpful and the food is delicious.

A friend advised me to try Blue Eye Dragon, and I'm very glad that I did. I booked a table for my mother's birthday. They made the experience very personalised for my mother, and each waiter greeted her by her name and wished her a happy birthday. The food was amazing; each dish was just as good as the next. Will definitely go back- give it a try and see for yourself. Chicken 5 spice, pan fry dumplings and steak with black bean sauce were the crowd favourites. Excellent service. 10/10

Really good food and served in a timely manner so we weren't rushed to get to the show. Goes hand in hand with a visit to the Lyric Theatre.

The restaurant is a remake of a warehouse and felt it had quiet elegance. The food was excellent from the starters all the way through to the end.

The food here is always reliably excellent. We miss the good old day when we could take a nice BYO to best match our meal. There is a problem with ambience in that there are no "soft" floor/wall/ceiling covers to take up the noise. This is the only down side.

The Taiwanese food at Blue Eye Dragon is exceptionally tasty, the venue lovely and the service is excellent! This is our favourite restaurant to eat at before a show at the Lyric Theatre.

Staff were excellent; efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was divine. This place will be wonderful when they finish setting up their garden bar, especially right before a show at The Star. Recommended.

The food was amazing very fresh and dishes you do not see in all asian style restaurants. My favourite is the Chicken and water chestnut roll in bean curd pastry. The location is very unique and unexpected for the area. A little oasis in Pyrmont.

The Blue Eye Dragon would have to be one of the best Taiwanese restaurants we have eaten at. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is to die for. Muriel Chen (the part owner) and Jimmy the maître d' greets you with a friendly welcome and the good part of going to the restaurant is, they always know my and my wife's name.

Food was good. Service a bit patchy. The male was excellent - helpful and pleasant. The female was sullen, which is disappointing and unnecessary. Overall a nice before show experience. So much better than dining at The Star.
