This is a fabulous out-of-the-way dining experience in an unusual setting. Church hall you say? Yes - and the food is brilliant.
Always great food and service is excellent. Great night had by all.
Lovely little restaurant with a great ambience and amazing food - the set menu is great value and a good way to try a few things from the menu.
Always a delicious and relaxed experience with wonderful service as well.
It is always a delightful experience dining at Blue Eye Dragon. It commences with a cheery welcome from Jimmy or Muriel herself and continues with excellent service from the always smiling wait staff. With Jade in charge of the kitchen, every dish is beautifully presented and delicious. I must say that every guest we have invited to this restaurant, has come away with a very favourable and positive impression. Blue Eye Dragon is a marvellous exponent of Taiwanese cooking!
A friend advised me to try Blue Eye Dragon, and I'm very glad that I did. I booked a table for my mother's birthday. They made the experience very personalised for my mother, and each waiter greeted her by her name and wished her a happy birthday. The food was amazing; each dish was just as good as the next. Will definitely go back- give it a try and see for yourself. Chicken 5 spice, pan fry dumplings and steak with black bean sauce were the crowd favourites. Excellent service. 10/10
OMG Best night ever!!! The Blue Eye Dragon is a must do destination for every visit to the city. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff make you feel like part of the family. The food is amazing OMG there was 8 of us with all different palate pleasures and all of us walked away or should i say waddled because we enjoyed to food so much from the dumplings to the basa fillets it was truly enjoyable.
The Blue Eye Dragon would have to be one of the best Taiwanese restaurants we have eaten at. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is to die for. Muriel Chen (the part owner) and Jimmy the maître d' greets you with a friendly welcome and the good part of going to the restaurant is, they always know my and my wife's name.
Blue Eye Dragon was one of the best meals I have had in Sydney. Everything was so distinct in flavor and well seasoned. I wish I had a second stomach so I could eat more. Although this was my first visit, I will definitely make a point to get back there again very soon.
Our dinner for 12 people before a show at the Lyric Theatre was perfect. The staff at Blue Eye Dragon ensured we were served to accommodate our timing. The food was outstanding. The ambience and atmosphere is unique and inviting. We’ll keep going back.
