Blue Pepper Restaurant & Bar

Fabulous atmosphere, the food was exceptional and the staff excellent. Looking forward to our next visit, especially when the outside area completed in the coming weeks

One of the reasons we chose this restaurant was because of the ‘lunch menu’ on their website. When we arrived we were directed to a table next to the toilets even though the restaurant was near empty. When I mentioned this I was told it was because it was ‘quieter’. And worse, apparently they no longer serve the lunch menu. I was even told it was not on the website any longer. And when I shows it to a staffer she actually said to me that she had spoken to the owner and he had removed it. Well no, I wasn’t making it up. So instead of having a Pimms, nachos and dessert, Mum and I spent $8 on two tacos. Which were nice. So it was disappointing and made even Worse when we saw the great Vietnamese restaurant across the road was open! Finished with coffee and cake at a cafe up the road. So while the food was nice, the service was strange. I remarked to Mum that they almost seemed to be suggesting that I was not telling the truth about the lunch menú. A more professional way to handle it perhaps would have been to offer us food at the lunch menu prices. And a better table.

Really awesome little place with a great atmosphere. Will definitely become a regular place on our list of restaurants to visit. The taste of the food exceeded all expectations

Lovely intimate restaurant on lower end of Beach Road, Christie’s. Friendly staff giving us just the right amount of attention. Good food, nice drinks. Great combination. Thank you Blue Pepper, we will be back!

It’s a really nice place to go to have a few drinks with some friends. Also to be honest the food was such a surprise, it was so yummy! I would recommend the burritos. :)

I do love this restaurant & I will continue to because I love the atmosphere & the food is amazing BUT this is the second time in a row where our order was wrong... just be very clear when you order guys- ENJOY!

Aircon was broken so very hot inside ! Food average very dry burritos they need a sauce and the cocktail I had was terrible! Our waitress was lovely

The food was flavourless and boring and they gave me the wrong drink. Although the staff were friendly the service slow, we waited 45 minutes for our entree.

Probably a better bar than restaurant. We were there 2 days before Christmas so our experience may not be representative, but we found the food service a bit haphazard and the food a bit bland and lacking in the herb-laden freshness we associate with Mexican food.

Meals were yum, but not a big selection on the menu unfortunately. Only 4 different types of burritos and each were a different level of hot, unable to get beef unless you wanted it hot, not mild. Still great attentive service with a smile

Blue Pepper has a great atmosphere. We had the five course feast and left as full as a goog. We will be going back to try the rest of the menu soon.

Food was delicious as usual....huge portions. Drinks divine. Atmosphere great for a Thursday night. Friendly service by the staff. Would recommend as a good place to catch up with friends. And Beach Road needs places like the Blue Pepper to make the area a place for people to gather.

Great value for money, the cocktails list was amazing! And the cheese fries were delicious!!

They were very busy as they were hosting a 21st birthday party but we couldn't fault the service and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the live music and overall it was a lovely dining experience. Would definitely recommend to others.

The staff were great and were really good with the young kids by letting them draw. The food And drinks were also good and big portions so it filled us all up. Overall a great first experience :)
