Busshari Authentic Japanese Restaurant

As usual, really good food and attentive staff. Watching the sashimi chef ply the skills of his trade makes for a great experience overall. We will definitely be going again.

Excellent as usual. Great sashimi and really enjoyed the saki.

A number of dishes were lovely although there is no sashimi salmon on the menu. I was disappointed with the Teriyaki Chicken dish. The entrees were very nice.

Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. I went with my partner and we had the pork gyoza, salmon nigiri (which just happened to be there for the evening), Agedashi tofu, edamame, Busshari veggie shushi roll, Grilled scampi, and the Wagyu Beef Sizzling Tobanyaki. we also had the Busshari house hot sake, which was really yummy too. All in all, a really lovely experience.

My favourite Japanese restaurant. Amazing sashimi, oysters and definitely recommend the terriyaki fish of the day. Very fast service and reasonably priced food. Sake tasting board was good too

An initial mix-up with table reservations was quickly rectified (not with a change of table as the restaurant was fully booked), but with exemplary service, fabulous food and hospitality of genuine and wonderful staff. Will definitely come back for the house dish of baked eggplant with 2 sauces. Gina

The food was excellent, one of the better authentic tastes in Sydney. Seating isn't the most comfortable and it was too warm that evening in the shop. Still would recommend try it even just once.

Need to book as it is very popular. Beautifully presented and some of the best sashimi I have ever eaten: fresh as you could want.

Menu could've been slightly more extensive, however, the food is fantastic and very traditional. Service was very friendly and the restaurant as a whole is great value for money

This place is a gem! We had the most amazing meal - beautiful fresh sushi, sashimi and salad, and the tempura plate. Service was a little slow as i was incredibly busy, but this didn't affect our enjoyment as they did a great job of staggering the dishes so we always had something delicious on our table. Can't wait to go back!

Good food, but nothing stood out to me. Service was good. And I liked the Japanese ambiance. My favorite part was being seated at the bar, and watching the sushi being made right in front of us.

Delicious food. The sashimi is fantastic - so fresh. The service was quick and friendly, as usual. We also recommend the eggplant - one of our favourite dishes.

The Tuna Tartaki was sublime .Althought the Tuna portion was not as generous as we have had on previous occasions Otherwise the meal was delightful

Great local Japanese that celebrated its 10th anniversary on the night if our visit. Always good sushi and sashimi. We will be going back soon.

After living in Japan for so many years, when I find a Japanese restaurant that is 100% Japanese among the sadly so many pseudo-Japanese restaurants in Sydney, I am overjoyed. Busshari is 100% Japanese - the smells, the tastes, the quality. OMG! I was so happy. This restaurant has immediately become one of my favourite special places

Food was fantastic as always. The service this time was unusually terrible. Wrong order, wrong table deliveries and wrong bill. Very disapointed in the service.

Nice Japanese restaurant. Staff are very friendly. Food is on the pricier side but wasn't disappointed. The selection of Sake is broad, from sweet (+2) to dry (+20). Recommend ordering the Beautiful Boy. Just hearing "Here are your Beautiful Boys" from the staff is worth the price of admission.

Delicious Japanese food with great friendly service. We loved the salmon yakitori, japanese pickles and eggplant miso. Busshari has a lovely relaxed vibe and we will be back soon.

Great Japanese food with attentive staffs. The sashimi are super fresh too! I recommend deep fried flounder which you can eat the crunchy bones too. Also the sashimi salad is delisciois and refreshing.

Very bush and good atmosphere. Attentive staff and lovely fresh food. Quite a big choice on the menu, if you order one of the main courses like pork belly you need to order a side dish as it comes alone.
