Cafe63 Westlake is the latest Brisbane branch of this iconic and highly sought-after group of cafes. Tucked away on Westlake Drive, a stone’s throw from the Brisbane River, Cafe63 is cafe dining at its very best. Locals are buzzing about the exceptional service, coffee and food – as well as the fact that this chic space doubles as a florist. Dining among plants? Sounds perfect to us. You’ll find an extensive menu brimming with all the Australian-style classics you know and love, with that distinctive Cafe63 twist, of course – keep an eye out for the names of the dishes. Perfect for a long and lazy brunch or lunch, Cafe63 Westlake will have you all kinds of content. This is one popular cafe though, so booking ahead is highly recommended.
So, we know Cafe63 Westlake has got it going on when it comes to the service and atmosphere. But let’s take a deeper look at what you can expect from this iconic Brisbane cafe. The Cafe63 Westlake menu has breakfast sorted, that’s for sure, and we love tucking into dishes like classic eggs Benedict topped with smoked salmon, Merino slow-cooked lamb shoulder served with bacon, sausages, a fried egg, hash browns and gravy or the Kee pancakes topped with berry compote, ice cream, maple syrup and strawberries. Paired alongside a fresh juice and flat white, this all makes for a damn fine morning.
If you’re visiting Cafe63 Westlake a little later in the day, you should make sure you arrive with a hearty appetite. We love kicking things off with a couple of starters to share like the poutine smothered in cheese, gravy and bacon or the Dennis Lillee platter loaded up with seafood, salad, fries and Turkish bread. Then, take your pick from a whole host of mains, salads, burgers and wraps… needless to say, you won’t be leaving here hungry. As we said, you’ll find Cafe63 Westlake on Westlake Drive where a booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. This is one Brisbane cafe you don’t want to miss!
Great new cafe in the neighbourhood with very friendly, helpful staff. We will definitely visit on a regular basis as the menu and times are extensive.
Pleasant lunch - plenty of options - attractive decor - table service a trifle spasmodic but happy to return for another lunch sometime soon. Col
Great location and service. Meals were up to the usual Café 63 standard. The chef roamed the café discussing the meals and experience with the customers. Well done.
Turned up on the opening day. Everyone was friendly and eager to please. Will be my new hangout place for coffee on the way home from the gym
Very extensive menu with great choices. Food was good overall but thick cut chips were very average and a bit hard. Atmosphere is a bit austere and needs some soft furnishings to absorb sound. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We have a real issue with the wall of plastic bottled water, jugs of cold water not killing the planet with plastic (and room temp water).
New cafe...Still working through some teething issues but overall very happy to have a new cafe walking distance from home. Food was good, prices were reasonable and venue was well presented.
The cafe atmosphere was great. Sitting arrangement was bit conjusted.95% staff was wearing Trainee badge so service was bit messy. Food was fresh and good as usual.
did not get there as the kitchen was not working. could not offer a full breakfast. they did text me to state this but for a new cafe, one would not think that it would not break down so early
