Didn’t like the music.. Found it interfered with the meal. Something less intrusive would be better.

Food was good, but not "WOW". Overall the prices are too high. Either prices have to come down or quality of the food needs to go up.

Our waitress was wonderful . Her advice was spot on . The food delicious, her wine recommendation same . All in all we had a wonderful lunch, satisfying in every way . Thank you for a wonderful experience .

Food was great! The polpette were so soft and moist. Grilled octopus was perfect and the sauce it was presented with was so intensely tomato! You must try the chocolate mousse it had an interesting delicious twist. We arrived for an early dinner and the place got noisy by the time we left and the service also slowed down.

Caffe Bartolo has Great food, service and drinks! We will definitely recommend to friends and be back to try other dishes. Thanks for a fun night.

Fantastic food, great service, lovely space. Couldn’t rate it highly enough. Had rigatoni, lamb loin and caprese salad, followed by a wonderful and generous tiramisu. Will be back.

Excellent light Italian cuisine. Good service. Relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for casual catch ups. Would like to see a Tap beer or a better offering of package beer. Definate value for money.

Superb service,attentive and discreet. Cocktails were heaven. Main course delicious. Tiramisu...I prefer the more authentic recipe however it was very nice. Wine list needed more explanation however the selection recommended was superb. Excellent evening

Had wanted to try Caffe Bartolo for a while, after Bills moved next door and watching the transformation into Bartolo. New interior look definitely changed the restaurant. The atmosphere was busy, noisy with diners chat but the space between tables is extremely close. It feels like you are almost dining with your neighbours - staff have challenges manoeuvring between tables and fellow diners often bump into each other’s chairs while seated at their tables. It was hard to have a conversation across the table and felt like the tables around you could hear every word. Food menu and quality is ok. Staff are great and doing their best in a very restrictive space.

Great staff, food was delicious, and a great vibe. We had the gnocchi with prawns and it was cooked perfectly. The freshly baked pastries looked delicious so we'll definitely head back.

Great Italian cafe with actual Italian staff serving authentic Sicilian dishes. The staff were super helpful with my eggplant allergy and the food was imaginative and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere plus outside seating too.

The entrees were great but the mains were a bit meh. The Seafood Gnoochi felt like two separate dishes combined and the Rigatoni meat was not the best quality. Whilst the restaurant is really nice inside, the layout does not allow for a lot of privacy/comfort. The tables are too close together and I felt like I had to shout over the noise from the tables next to me, which made me feel uncomfortable. The tables were also so small that when having 2 entree dishes on the table, we could not eat comfortably without bumping our elbows. I will give it another chance but ambiance and the mains let it down. However, the service was good and the sparkling water provided was an extra bonus.

Great ambience, excellent service, amazing food – actually really authentic amazing food – reminiscent of Sicily. This place is an undiscovered gem hopefully not too many people find out about it, but I suspect that won’t be the case for long.

It is a lovely place but the food is a bit inconsistent. My fish main was very nice but my husband’s octopus looked more like an appetiser.

Cafee Bartolo is soooo delicious! Love love love the food, wine & service. We will definitely be back again. Oh, and the pappardelle is a MUST!

Main meals were delicious. Definitely recommend the octopus! A European feel to the decor and cocktails to match. We were only let down by the Italian style donuts.

Great food, wine list and fantastic service. the new fit out gives it a real cafe/wine bar feel. The mix of communal tables and individual works well - the footpath will be buzzing on sunny days! A new favourite in the 'hood!

We had a delicious meal at Caffe Bartolo. The food, wine, service and ambience was just perfect. We have just spent a month in Italy so we are very particular. We will definitely be back.

Good food, a nice setting, good service. We didn't know the wine list but the recommendations were very good. We will have dinner there again.
