Was so looking forward to having dinner here but it wasn't to good at all the dinner was ruined because the steak and lamb we orderd was basically burned. Service was good and we only paid for one meal but our special night was ruined.

My wife and I took her elderly parents to Carmel's. The staff ensured they had comfortable seating - enough room to move as both have walking frames. And when we had finished our meal, assisted us to get them to the car. Easy & close parking was a great factor for us. We loved the meal, cooked to perfection. The service was warm and friendly, the ambience is great - rustic to a degree. I do/will recommend Carmel's to all.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The steak was cooked well, but the flavour was surprisingly bland. The pulled pork was definitely the highlight, with rich, melt in your mouth quality, followed by the fresh loaf. The coffee was average and the fruit tingle cocktail disappointing. Add to that, the above average price tag and the raving reviews about the steak and I wasn't particularly impressed. I also asked in my booking notes if they could please congratulate my fiancè as we had just gotten engaged the day prior and I'm not sure if they even read it as no one said a word.

Quality of the lamb used in 2 of our dishes was awful...very tough and chewy with a lot of gristle and fat . Very disappointing when lamb dishes are so expensive.

The experience at Carmel's Bar and Grill was excellent, we booked online half an hour before going.

Lovely restaurant, we hadn't been here for a few years and we enjoyed our meal, friendly service and quick timing even though the did have a walkin party of 21 people!

We were welcomed at the door by happy and helpful staff. We were given time to read the menu before ordering. No pressure. Food came out quickly and lots of it. Thete were 15 of us and meals were out at the same time. Great atmosphere. Thanks
