Caruso's Gourmet Pizza & Italian Restaurant

The bathrooms could use some attention . Ladies not working properly & unclean . Disabled could not be locked .

The staff were all very friendly and only to happy to take care of any requests we made. The meals were Great value large and full of flavor. We completed our meal with the dessert platter which was delicious and included the”best ever chocolate cake” which did not disappoint. To complete the night all the ladies at the table received a rose which was a nice touch to end the night.

Food and staff were great. Restaurant only had very few customers inside but food took a long time to be served. Possibly more attention was spent on take away, UBER food or deliveroo as that seems to take priority these days at most places over seated customers.

Service is so friendly and even though it was a busy Saturday night we were looked after well. My wife had the Gnocchi Romano and said it was excellent. I myself am vegan and give them cudos for not just having two vegan options but having a full vegan menu with many options. We will go back again

We had the slow roast pork which was excellent. Staff wonderful, friendly and attentive. Ambience could be improved. Lighting inside too harsh and chairs outside have cushions which appear tatty underneath. Small attention to these details could make this a top spot.

Best cocktails and vegan food ever! Went to dine for NYE and it was a great way to end the year. The cocktails were the best I've ever had, and they had a great range of vegan pasta and desserts. Everything was delicious, as well as great service. Highly recommended!

The service was the worst I've experienced in years. We were there for 2.5 hours. Asked for a coke 3 times with no outcome, our finished main meals were left on our table for over 1 hour, asked for the dessert menu and the hopeless waiter came back with 1 menu for 5 of us to share. Waited over 1 hour to place our dessert order and we finally gave up as nobody came to take our order. The restaurant was not even half full!!! Will never return.

The food & service at Caruso’s was excellent as usual. However the restaurant can get quite noisy which makes it a bit hard to understand your conversation. Overall very good would highly recommend.

Gnocchi was disappointing had once before and was delicious. My son and I both had the gnocchi last night but was very dry.

To be honest, I would steer friends away from this restaurant. They messed up my order completely and brought pizza instead of pasta, then told me they didn't have the pasta I asked for. The wait staff wouldn't make eye contact or come near our table when we wanted to order drinks and a top-up of table water it was completely forgotten. They brought 2 out of 3 desserts we ordered, then brought the 3rd dessert when the icecream in the first two had melted. The average price for a pizza being in the mid to high 20s but the size was small and it really wasn't worth the premium price or wait. The background noise made it impossible to hear. It's a third rate restaurant charging prices of a premium restaurant, and there was no Italian feeling or mood. Wait staff were South American and Muslim, and items on the menu were not available.

My food was great. Calamari Fritti to die for but unfortunately my partners pasta was very dry.

The hot prawn pot was magnificent - loved it! The veal was cooked so well. All served by a friendly and warm waiter. Thanks we will be back soon for the desert platter!

Love the new vegan menu! My partner had food from the ‘normal’ menu and I had food from the ‘vegan’ menu and we both had incredible food! Starters mains and dessert were all amazing! Will definitely be back

Restaurant was cold and very noisy. One main was delayed (pasta) the rest of the table was almost finished eating when it arrived and was a very disappointing dish. Wait staff were very nice and friendly

All table were full, but service was exceptional. Food great as always.
