I’ve been coming to this restaurant for about 30 years and it hasn’t changed a bit; it’s a Sydney institution and well worth a visit for the traditional tapas experience.

Flavours a bit bland and some parts of the platter not fully hot (temperature wise) . service and ambience good . First two wines we chose from the wine list were not in stock on the night.

Very authentic Spanish place. Service was super friendly. The whole experience felt like a warm hug. Loved it. I definitely recommend this place to anyone

Great restaurant. Service was attentive, but inexperienced with the menu. I would definitely go back as it is the last remaining Spanish Quarter restaurant, but very good. Need to work on the service.

Traditional much as you’d experience there. Was hoping for a jamon croquette and had to settle for chicken, nice enough. Fabada was well prepared and the lamb was slow cooked so easy to eat. I would have preferred prawn in the Ensalada Rusa and maybe tinker with the recipe a little or RE think the type of mayo used. Overall was pretty good and would recommend. As it was only two of us we had tapas to start so couldn’t try the paella which does look appealing.

Fantastic food, great service and not over priced. Lovely Spanish feel about the place. Will certainly be coming back again. Thank you for the most enjoyable evening.

Service was attentive with friendly and obliging staff. Our paella was very good, and while slightly drier than we would like it was very enjoyable. We had to attend a show at The Capitol commencing 7:00pm and we were very well catered for.

Soooo disappointing. Food is bland. I ordered suckling pig and that is NOT what I got. It was so tough I couldn’t cut it with my knife. They should have said they didn’t have any and I would have ordered something different. Save your money, not worth going.

Food was on point. Service was on point. Live entertainment was on fleek. Would recommend the tapas for 2. The potatoes were 10/10. Absolutely sensational.

Service is great. Good food. Good dance. Good atmosphere. The only thing I don't like is the building itself but understand that nothing can be done about it.

The food was awesome. The staff and service were so friendly and fantastic. we did not have to wait long for anything, everything was perfect. We had an amazing night. I will be coming back again and again. Thankyou to all for such a wonderful experience.

Fantastic meal - tapas banquet for 6 including paella and sangria. Potato salad and prawns particularly tasty. Friendly attentive staff. Lovely setting/decor. Overall a great place to enjoy a group meal.

The food was good with paella that could be improve. The only problem was the service which was a bit too slow and not very attentive

We had a dinner for 7 people, the food was tasty, for a reasonable price. The show was fantastic, staff were all welcoming and helping. Will come back again.

they dont sell some beverages or food that they have on the menu, I was disappointed to go all the way there and finding out there wasn't what I was going to drink

Fantastic atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door. Very traditional surroundings was just like being in Spain. and delicious food. Great staff 😊

Carlos, the owner of the restaurant is an amazing host. His team of chefs and staff are Five star hospitality. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Good food as always! Loved the paella. Good value for two people. Service was also good. Very attentive staff. Wish there was some sort of loyalty program with the restaurant itself so I can go there as many times as I like. :-)

We ent fo lunch on a Saturday with a table of 8 and ordered various tapas and 3 different paellas. The staff were attentive, and knowledgable about the dishes and wines, and also the portion sizes. The food was excellent, the wines good and we had a great time. It's not fine dining, but neither are the prices. The menu is extensive nough that we'll be back soon to try som of the dishes we missed on this visit. Thanks to Carlos & his teamfor a really enjoyable afternoon !

Food was fine, service was fabulous, but it was very hot and loud. Not the best for conversation, and not a place I would go to on a hot, humid evening.

Great food and wonderful service. Staff were friendly and smiling. Food was delicious. Tappas were great as were the paella's and sangria. Family enjoyed the eveni ng.

Nice busy restaurant......food was OK , some servings of tapas more generous than others.....wine list was expensive for the style of restaurant....but Sydney prices to be expected.....overall we would come back

Excellent food and wine, and at such a decent price, amazing value for Sydney. Place looks average from outside, but lovely inside, really feels like Spain.

This restaurant is a real find, exquisitely flavoursome & beautifully presented food, authentic decor with nice atmosphere, friendly & attentive staff, reasonably priced for quality.

Atmosphere was great however some of the decor was a little dated. Food was great, however the waiter we had was a bit short with us when we asked how much food is in the mixes tapas.

Great service. We had a voucher for the paella - which was really well cooked, and ordered a few tapas to go along with it - it was all cooked really well, and tasted great.

Delicious food and helpful staff. Really enjoyable dining experience. Would happily go again. Went with a large group and the staff easily looked after us.

Food - They did not have the muscles we ordered but they had the muscles in the seafood spaghetti which were not fresh at all. I had a stomach ache after I ate the muscles that were off. Service - Service on the other hand was okay. Atmosphere - Dark and loud.

Had the seafood and chicken paella. The Paella was ok but the chicken was quite dry. Waited about 20 mins for a desert menu but then gave up.

Weitress wasn’t on the ball. Constantly had to tap my fork on the glass to get her attention. Mind you the place was empty. Food was good but service was bad.

This is my preferred spanish restaurant in Sydney. They make very good tapas and paella. Definitely recommend it to other people who are visiting Sydney

Everything about the dinner was spot on. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Food arrived quickly and all dishes were great in quality and quantity. Will definitely visit again.

The food was good but not great. Sizes where a bit small. Difficult to share if a group, we were five. Quite respectful with the Spanish way of preparing.

We have ordèred the seafood paella which is nice. We have also ordered the mixed tapas and we love that. Staff are friendly. We definitely will come back again.

The food and service was not bad but It’s too expensive than food quality..I expected little bit more. On the other hand, the location and mood was good.
