Male Indian waiter should not reach over the table, walk around. Steaks were not cooked to the correct pinkness

With the last day of the year today, we decided to dine out and see the New Year in at home afterwards. Catalano’s was busy and it being a balmy evening we had dinner outside where a few tables were available. Dinner was delicious and the service was great! Happy New Year Catalano’s restaurant!

As a group, we have visited Catalano's on a few occasions, and this was the worst experience we have had - the food was served at different times (some people had finished their meal before everyone was served theirs), the food was not hot, not fresh and it seemed the establishment was understaffed. It was a disappointing lunch for us.

Great food, fast service and really good atmosphere. Lovely staff to.

We had a garden salad with our meal and a lot of the leaves were slimy. We did advise the staff.

Always quick service here, love it. Super tasty and nice and hot pasta.

The decorations for valentines day were just beautiful and gave it a special atmosphere.

Service was excellent and waitress very pleasant. My husband and I had garlic prawns, chips and salad. Prawns had too much garlic butter, over powering but otherwise would have been good.

Nice and clean air con not the best in some areas

Very good and fresh seafood. Our seafood platter for 2 was very big & tasty. BYO for wine was a bonus. Service was friendly, polite and attentive.

We were sat in the far side of the restaurant. No aircon/fans … all 5 of us were sweating and fanning ourselves with our hands. We also noticed others doing it. Flies everywhere, there was at least 3 flies constantly flying on our food. Water was hot. Waiter was lovely and friendly. We had the platter and fish was over cooked. But everything was tasty.

We had good family dinner with my visiting relatives. The restaurant was so packed and busy yet not too long to wait for our food.

While eating a meal the restaurant ceiling fell down. Dirt, dust rubble was everywhere. On our table and food. Unable to finish our meal.

I love this place! excellent gluten free options,.my fav is the garlic bread! and their cocktails are ammmazing! 10/10 would recommend booking a table! they are that good they are always busy so prebook early because they may just be booked out! staff are very friendly and accommodating to everyones needs

Do not order the whiting as if is frozen crumbed and was overcooked. They did replace it however. I had. Red emporer at $49.00 and it had a sour flavour to it. I think maybe the spices on the skin. Very disappointing and won’t hurry back.

Honestly we had the best food, and nicest staff. Nothing was too hard and the kids loved the food too! Very good value for.money for a really great experience.

Busy, but it was New Years Eve so expected. Managed to get good table and staff were great, welcoming and as efficient as could be expected... Ordered Grilled squid mains but seemed light on squid for the price. It was really tasty and well cooked, but another few pieces would have been better. Same with beef cheeks Gnocchi... Lovely Sauce but light on beef cheeks. Everything tasted nice and fresh though...

Food was average, plating just felt it was slopped on (no care). Orders got mixed up. Service started off really good and as soon as it got busy it became erratic. I wouldn’t dine here again.

Visiting from Scotland after many fond memories of being at Catalano’s buy I was slightly disappointed with the service. Felt we were rushed, not by our main server but another server who cleared plates away whilst others in the party were still eating. Priority appeared to be given to takeaway drivers as opposed to clientele sitting in from. If you. Addressed with staff at the time. HO to blame!

because of the time of year, it was busy & noisy, but that's good for the restaurant & it is Christmas time, so who can complain, just you did ask :)

Sun shining right in our eyes for nearly an hour. They need a shade at the window. Took at least half an hour to be given wine glasses.
