Great place great food but very noisy hard to have a proper conversation

The waiter took a long time to take our order. However, when he finally did, the food was delivered promptly. All 4 of us had different dishes and we all cleaned our plates! The restaurant was very noisy, and we left once our food was finished and went for a pleasant walk around Victoria Park. We will go back to Catalano's - but not for dinner.

Booking a table was easy, staff were attentive and helpful and food was delicious.

We celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary at Catalano's and had an amazing dinner starting with oysters kilpatrick and a scrumptious seafood platter! Waitress Sam and all the staff were wonderful. Thank you, we will definitely be back for another seafood dinner 😋

Do not normally post a review, but the food and service here was amazing. All 3 of us had the seafood fettuccine, all 3 of us loved it, fresh seafood, yummy pasta and great sauce. Good portion size, not too big. Max our waiter, very attentive. Thanks for dinner

Ordered carbonara, penne alla vodka and fettuccine broccoli. Nothing tasty and wow. The pizza is tasteless. Will not recommend or return

It had great service the whole time we were there

Staff were pleasant and attentive, but the food was not hot as expected. My pasta dish of Cannelloni was pre prepared and still cold in the centre.

We went in early Dec and the food ie Seafood Platter was better. Fish of the day was below expectations.

I have been here a lot and we always get the same 2 pasta dishes as they are divine however my pasta dish was different this time. I asked the waiter but he said no still the same. I think it had been overlooked at the sauce making stage. It was ok but not as good as as normal. I would send it back next time but as it was a busy New Years Eve did not want to make a fuss.

We ordered garlic bread , oysters, Spaghetti bolognese, fettuccine carbonara , veal parmi , chicken parmi and pepperoni pizza and it was all delicious

Chilli mussels were fresh but we were given plain bread instead of garlic bread. They then changed them to toasted bread upon request, yet it's not the garlic bread that a usual Italian restaurant serve.. Waiter was attentive, kudos to him.

Fish of the day really good Veal scallopini was very tasty, but tough, too much sauce, and too few mushrooms. Service was great.

Wonderful experience in a lovely setting. All staff were friendly, helpful and so patient. We loved our generously sized, meals and were especially impressed by the beef cheek gnocci that was the special for the day! Can't wait to come back.

We made a late dinner booking and were the last to leave. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent as well. Always a pleasure to eat at Catalanos Cafe.

Pizza was soft and doughy Poor selection of desserts Attentive first few minutes of arriving but when all guests arrived had to get attention of staff after 15 mins to get drinks Childs pasta watery Staff cleared table after meal finished. Didn’t come back to check if wanted coffees or desserts
