Cavallino Ristorante

This was for father’s day and a party of 7 at $65 and $75 per person was a huge disappointment and unacceptable. The service was horrible from the onset and we were the first seating (only 2 other tables at that point) 1/2 of the party’s dishes (the fish) arrived 20 minutes before the others. When the rest of the dishes arrived we finally began eating and all the fish dishes were grossly undercooked (raw in middle) We had to wait another 20 minutes for them to be remade. This all being said the Barramundi was excellent and the rest of the dishes were pretty good…except the oysters did not taste fresh.

Very pleasant experience. Food was excellent. A little cool but it was a cool night.

We sat in the verandah which was nice. All the tasting plates we had were nice. The pizza crust for wood fired pizzas were bland and weren’t the highlight. Didn’t have dessert. Champagne wasn’t available by the glass and only bottle was expensive. Few things could be improved. It was a lovely setting however not sure if I would revisit. Christine

Our dinner at Cavallino felt like stepping into a large cozy Italian hunting lodge, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was of high quality and authentic, we enjoyed woodfired pizza's and pasta dishes, along with a stunning Tomahawk that we shared. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, soak in the charm, and enjoy some seriously delicious Italian food that feels straight out of Italy. The young service team were genuinely helpful and engaging. It could use a makeover soon, which the owner admitted that they are working on major renovations in 2025

Great Italian venue, ideal for any occasion, we have booked our daughters birthday in their beautiful Bar area. The food is genuine , tasty, and very authentic

Great value for money and excellent service. Quiet area with lots of parking. Perfect for families.

One of the starters was cold in the middle. Perhaps it should not have been charged. The seats are uncomfortable. Not sure if we will go again.

Perfect restaurant for the family. The wait staff were very attentive and very accomodating to our dietary requirements which were quite complicated. Definitely going back

The restaurant itself and the service is fantastic. However we felt that the menu was somewhat limited especially the pasta options. Food that we chose was great. Will be back to try more :)

Food not quite as satisfying as it sounded on the menu. Wine by the glass was very good quality unlike most other restaurants. Would still return in the future.
