Asahi beer only available in large glasses, I had to repeat the order (2 x beer and 2 x mineral water), after asking for mineral water I was asked if soda water was ok when a large bottle of mineral water was available Fish tacos, fish was not the star, tacos ok

Table was ready, staff were friendly & helpful, atmosphere was great, & food was really good & timely.

Average food - We had salmon and chicken that were both totally dripping in olive oil. Service was non existing - you have to pick your drinks, order food and bring it to your own table. The plates were not even taken away after we ate so we were wondering if we need also need to return them...

The fastes I have been served yet! Boo yah! Food was good as well

It was a 38C temp day but ceiling fans and a sea breeze kept the place pleasant to be in.

Great spot for a family get together with good food

Everything was optimal because it wasn't very busy. No doubt waiting times & noise levels would be different on a busier night. But the decor & atmosphere there are always great & the kids had fun on the jumping castle.

Great wildfired pizzas, fast food but slow service at times.

Food is well over priced for a no table service restaurant. Pizza was sloppy, braised beef was chalky and overall the food was ordinary for the cost. this place has gone down hill since being sold. And no table service! what is that all about. they have the staff for table service but make you go collect your own food. complete rubbish.

Food was okay for a pub. Knives and forks should be checked to make certain they a clean.

It was a lovely night. If i was looking for any reason to find fault I would say possibly the lighting above our table was a little dark and we were seated near a door so it got a little drafty when the door was opened.

RSL club quality food at fancy bistro prices. The food came quickly but that’s about where the positives end. Our fish was over cooked and the kids meals were ungenerous (one tiny piece of fish for the kid fish and chips). I expected better quality and/or quantity for the price. View is nice, as long as you’re there on a day that’s warm enough to sit outside and enjoy it. Next time we’ll get takeaway fish and chips and eat it on the beach.

Loved everything about this place 😁highly recommend for all ages.

My favourite thing about Caves Coastal is it’s atmosphere. It feels relaxing and welcoming.

We had a great lunch to celebrate Christmas with my work colleagues. Our online booking went with no problems and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the singer as well in the early afternoon.

Caves Beach used to be one of my "go to" pubs. 2nd last time I went it was ordinary. After last night, never again. Bar service was awful, food was terrible (3 out of 5 of us of us didn't finish our meals due poor food quality), tables were unclean as were the menus (sticky with sauce stains).

You have finally got the food perfect but now you need to work on the pricing.

Great food and lovely location. Staff were a bit scarce at times and a bit haphazard with acknowledging queue etiquette, but friendly and helpful.

As always the food was great come out fast and service was great

Went out with family for dinner, one family member didn’t get his meal for 15 minutes later he had to go up and remind them. One family member meat was completely raw he now feels very sick, the line up for food and drinks completely blocks the walk way of the entrance only way past, so you have to constantly move to the side. I went there a few years ago and had the schnitzel which was terrible but was told the place has gotten better since then now the schnitzel has gotten better but I don’t see myself going back there

Our meal came 40 minutes after our friends did even though we ordered at same time, it was cold and tasted terrible, when we raised the concern they didn’t care.

Yummy food and a relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful location.
