Loved the ease of being able to make an online reservation. The booking was exactly what had been requested, food did not disappoint and staff went out of their way to make for an overall lovely experience.

Had a great time at Caves. With a magnificent view, great food, really good music, fire pits and lots of seating options. Made for a very enjoyable afternoon.

Really busy but all staff friendly and accommodating. Note that pizzas are delivered as soon as cooked so all meals may not arrive at same time. Food fresh and well presented. Fabulous views.

This is a great venue suitable for every occasion. It has been recently refurbished and has a very welcoming feel. Staff are very helpful. Family friendly, great outdoor and indoor spaces with reasonable prices for food and beverages.

Wonderful location and fabulous service. Will definitely be back. Lunch was lovely, then sat outside so my nieces could play on the jumping castle plus they had their face painted for free x

Had a fantastic night! Great food, nice beer selection and very nice location. The Peking duck and Moroccan lamb pizzas were amazing, and I love the hanging egg chairs!

food was very basic , and didnt in any way reflect the perception of the upgraded venue. I would be disappointed if a view was taken that the food quality and offer is "good enough ", it didnt work and for a party of 12 diners , to not have even 1 that was very satisfied with their meal choice is not a great result . the location and Hotel upgrade are exceptional , but the Dining experience was a let down.

A very busy and noisy place with a wonderful, relaxed vibe and good food and service! Try the Mississippi mud cake and wood fired pizzas.

The Caves Bistro serves good pub food, its a busy place and the wood fired pizza is as good as most places and better than lots of restaurants.

Caves Beach pub always has high quality food, with a great atmosphere no matter whether it's lunch or dinner time. Wheelchair accessibility is great with parking underneath and lift access.

Had not been here in years as last experience was very ordinary. The place looked fantastic, the food and the service were excellent . View as always is spectacular, only disappointment was the cushions were wet outside and people ended up with wet bums. Maybe a sign to let patrons know. Besides that it was a great experience and we will certainly be returning.

Very warm in the building itself. The line up for food was lengthy, and the quinoa salad was overpriced and unpleasant. Lovely venue otherwise and the other food (pub type food, burgers etc) was quite nice.

Nice venue but the live music was very loud and the food was a litte disappointing. I had a pizza and the base was very good but it was overloaded with cheese which was undercooked.

Hi I have booked tonight for dinner for my sons birthday When I called though out the week they said it was kids eat free from Monday -Thursday when you purchase an adult meal We have just ordered and to be told this is a member deal only When we then asked to become members we were told it wasn’t open he then said it’s fine he would put it though anyway but to have his card not work then he told us we would have to pay for the kids meals We purchased 3 adult meals and 3 kids meals Just really disappointed

The accommodation here is thoughtfully and pleasantly designed but the restaurant and bar is like a vast RSL or Leagues club. Order food yourself at the bar, buy your drinks and carry them back to the table, try to have a conversation over loud pop music. The menu offers all-American hotel food which is competently cooked but still junk. There are few dishes without chips. The staff are hard-working and pleasant but why would so much thought have been put into the architecture and so little into the eating and drinking experience?

Love the renovations. The place looks amazing. Food was nice although the salad on the side of the Schnitzel was a little soggy. Would have preferred coleslaw. Husband had a pizza and said it was divine. It was very hot on the day we went and luckily we got a table near the door for some air. The fans didn’t seem to do too much. We’ll definitely be back - beautiful spot.

A couple of food and drink orders were not correct, this was due to the noise. The wait staff found it hard to hear. And it would be a good idea if they read the orders back so custmer can double check. Other than that food was good just very noisy.

The renovation lools great however it looked like they over booked. Our table (of 6) was right in a door way which was effectively a wind tunnel and the band was just about on top of our table we were so close to them. The line for dinks and ordering food was so long we only stayed for 1 drink and left.

We were originally seated outside but as a party of 13 and majority of them were kids we preferred to be inside due to the weather not being so great. Adam (manager) was very accommodating, friendly and service was fantastic.

I understand it was busy BUT. Took 1 hour and 20 mins to get our food. Staff walking around with plates of food for 5 mins trying to find which table to take the food too. Food cold when we got it. I think hey need to employ a floor manager.
