Chalawan

Food was excellent, although there were slight delays experienced with the delivery of some of the dishes. However this was minor in the context of the overall smiling service delivery. Cocktails were great but expensive.

Small restaurant with table and bar seats. There's happy hour half price drinks from 7pm onwards and $1 oysters between 6pm-7pm. Service is reeaally slow and inattentive which lets it down - you pretty much have to flag down waitstaff... but the food is good.

Chalawan had absolutely yummy food and we can't wait to go back again. Betel leaf crunchy bites, crisp fried calamari, juicy pork. Loved the mohito.

Experience was generally awful. After we sat it took 10 mins to he greeted and given a menu. We ordered our food and drinks, and after 20 mins on waiting for our drinks, we were told the bar tender was "missing" and she couldn't find her. She had left the restaurant!!! When she eventually came back she made our drinks in no hurry at all - which we still had to pay for. Food was okay. Betel leaf was extremely spicy, pork belly wasn't special, mushroom dish was amazing.

Food was great, service fantastic, a little tight in the siting dept. My partner says the spoons are too big! :) Over all a great evening - thank you.

i have been here twice in two weeks...food taste very good. highly recommend the oyster. very cosy atmosphere. food was a little slow to come out but is worth the wait.
