For fine Indian dining in Canberra’s outer suburbs, it’s hard to think of anywhere on Chalisa Indian Restaurant’s level. That’s partly down to their many attractive features beyond the food – they have a fully stocked bar, gorgeous outdoor dining area, family-friendly kids zones and loads of parking available, not to mention a cosy atmosphere with a blend of traditional Indian and art deco decor. Still, it’s the quality food that is Chalisa’s real calling card, a journey through the finest feasts to be found among the traditions of tandoor and North Indian cuisine. Whether opting for a classic like vindaloo, saag or tikka masala, or trying something new like Chalisa’s khaajurao or Fijian-style goat curry, you’ll leave Chalisa more than satisfied, and probably contemplating a return visit. It’s easy to find on Talbot Street in Greenway, just across Lake Tuggeranong, so reserve a table and look forward to some classy Indian dining!

Great Food, love the butter chicken, curried prawns, and chicken tikka masala. The service was very good and the selection of wines and beers very good.
