First part of the evening amazing , staff well trained and good knowledge of the menu , their suggestions wonderful . As the place got busy service dropped , last dish was pork belly and not cooked properly , a real disappointment . Will still go back as all other dishes really tasty .

Food was lovely and staff very friendly ever though being 1 person down that night. Only problem we had was that it was cold and drafty which made it slightly uncomfortable. But apart from that there was no fault with this restaurant.

Great food, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. Their 'feed me' menu is great value and allows you to try a range of dishes. Would recommend.

Great selection of vegetarian options for dinner, such as the crispy eggplant with sichuan sauce and the fried tofu. Service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommended!

Great ambience and the staff were great but the food was bland and the drink selection lacking. I went for dinner; I've also been for lunch and the yum cha was amazing though.

Great food. The best thing is the feed me option it lets you try what they think is best, the food is delicious and it works out to be great value.

The service was invasive every 1 minute same question and I did say please give us 5 more minutes Then when the food came out ,and I said we will just share it and we are not in a rush It all came out so fast some items went cold I've have been a chef for 36 years owned my own businesses and golden rule never ever rush the guest But we we treated like customers Clearly no communication on the floor as we were then asked 6 times how was the good when I told 3 of them that the eggplant was tasteless and oily They just looked lost and walked away Pricing like all of Perth way to expensive Tasteless ribs (how was that possible ) Dumplings need so much more work like seasoning and less corn flour as they were squash balls I wish I never suggested it would never ever go back even if it was free

This is our go to place when we eat out. Food and service is great and their dim sum is the best in town. Would highly recommend the mango pudding for dessert.

Service was slow and restaurant seemed short staffed for a busy Friday night. Too noisy that even staff had difficulty hearing our orders. Some dishes were good but others had sacrificed taste for style, also not great for value for money.

Great Food, Amazing Staff, Great Atmosphere! I have been here twice now and will definitely be back, the food here is absolutely amazing - every dish that was brought out is better then the last, also with the friendliest staff and the best looking restaurant in Mt Lawley, Chapas has made its way into my list of go-to's

I love this place. The staff are amazing, so friendly and happy. The food is consistently good and varied. Just a small complaint was the music, only because it was not my style and a little loud, just a comment and most certainly didn't ruin my experience.

Beautiful interior with fine details of vintagy chinese feel! It's the only café in town which serves all day brunch together with quality homemade dim sum! Quite like the smart idea of incorporating Asian flavours into the usual breakfast aspects! Staffs are friendly and we were in love with the chinese mug that they used to serve the coffee & tea! Definitely be back

Great first time experience w lovely staffs, delectable foods in a funky venue. Highlight dish of the night would have to go to the duck confit; crispy skin with tender duck and love the thin warm pancake! bao of the day was super delicious with fluffy homemade steamed bun! hubby couldn't be happier with the $5 qing dao beers! We would definitely be back for the good foods & attrative beer price :-)

We enjoyed a tapas lunch - some traditional dishes and some with a contemporary twist, like the lamb and fennel dumplings. The dishes were tasty and well-presented and we appreciated the friendly service.

Went in to try the new brunch menu and it didn't disappoint. We had the scrambled eggs with Sriracha along with the steak sandwich and fried rice. The fried rice must be one of the favourite here in Perth!

First time having brunch at Chapas after a great dinner a couple weeks ago. Coffee, food and service were great. Coffee were served in a chinese style plastic/melanine? bowl which was fancyhowever I think I would have preferred it if they were served in a proper ceramic cup as the heat from the coffee dissipated quickly as the bowls weren't heat insulating

We arrived 20 minutes late and we're still given a table, which was nice considering they were very busy. There is some very cool artwork on the top level. The baos and dumplings are great!

Service was good but the food was pretty average. We didn't really like the squid tentacles and octopus salad - one was too bland and the sauce for the salad was quite overpowering. The oysters pancake was slightly better but the Beef Ribs were lovely, you do need to have it with rice as they are quite strong in flavour.
