Great food and cocktails with an indigenous twist. Love that your supporting a social enterprise at the same time as having a good time eating and drinking.
The restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious with subtle and varied Australian indigenous ingredients. The wine we selected was also delicious. The service was great. We got prompt and friendly attention, with engaging but of overbearing staff. The atmosphere was good and we had a lovely evening.
This was a special birthday meal, and it passed all expectations. gentle, friendly service, beautiful ambience and sensational food. My kangaroo was pull apart tender, my partners emu cooked to perfection, accompanied by tasty and generous serving of vegetables. I'd love to know what ingredients are in the macadamia pesto???? The lemon myrtle cream brulee....yum. Good selection of wines. Overall a very memorable lunch, we will be back.
Excellent food and attentive friendly service - but a little slow. The range of native dishes were cooked well and beautifully presented. Well worth a visit.
food is innovative and thoughtfully prepared and a good cause too! Surroundings and attitude of staff made for relaxed dining, a very enjoyable eating experience. I will definitely return to try more very tempting menu options.
Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere! I also loved that it uses native Australian ingredients.
Overall some of the staff members could be trained a little better. They were really nice though. The food was quite the culinary experience. Really tasty and incredibly well presented.
Visited Charcoal lane on the last night of our holiday to Australia Food was great, staff were great and the wine was great. This restaurant is perfectly pitched as stylish without being pretentious. The authentic Australian dishes are lovely I had wallabe to start followed by the Emu fillet and both were well presented and extremely tasty. Portion sizes are good and price is reasonable. Overall if you are in the area this restaurant is a must, you won't regret it...
