Good food, good service and a cool atmosphere- just right for a dinner out. My only gripe was that the beer and wine list was so good, it was hard to decide what to have!

I have had the pleasure of visiting Melbourne eight times now (chch, NZ is home). Cookie is always on the list of places we come to dine and have a few drinks. Service is pleasant and efficient, the food is amazing and the atmosphere always bubbly. Always recommending to friends and colleagues.

Lovely meals that were served very quickly and supported with a great drinks range of choice. I was very impressed with the balance of service where the waiters came at the required times.

A fun food festive atmosphere. Four people, four large plates, four very satisfied tummies. The stuffed octopus and the steamed barramundi won the night. Friendly and attentive service. Music and chatter makes for a lively ambience.

Always wonderful here. Once again not disappointed. Pork Belly, Crispy Snapper, Duck Salad, Mussels with seafood.... topped off with a great Heathcote shiraz. Service attentive but always super friendly and casual.

The night was fantastic at Cookie greeted by buzzing atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. Service was prompt and knowledgeable both for food and drink. Food was excellent.

Great food, extensive beer list and excellent service. They gave us beer tastings at the bar before dinner to try some of the beers on tap which was also great.

Amazingly extensive menu. Curries were delicious, as were the pork dishes. We also had a 'homemade' chinotto made as they had run out of chinotto.

Amazing vegan options that were very well explained! Would recommend the lotus root salad and the daikon dish! Super handy being able to book a table for 4.

Food was excellent ....certainly did not disappoint. Restaurant was buzzing however, staff were willing to discuss menu and offer assistance. They were handling a medical emergency last night but continued to look after their patrons. We love Cookie and think you do it really well.

Food was pretty good. Wine and cocktails were excellent. Service was ok - was expecting more of an upbeat and happy staff. Ours seemed a bit grouchy and unfriendly. A little too noisy for me but I'm sure others thought the noise level was fine.

It was lovely and the waitress was very helpful. It took them some minutes to give us our table but we waited in the bar area and it was alright, wasn't that long.

Everything ordered was top notch, and the cocktails were great too with awesome customer service to top it off ! Overall had a really enjoyable night out.

I've lost count of the number of times I've eaten at Cookie. It is an absolute favourite and staple in our Melbourne eat list. Fantastic and explosive flavours to delight the palate and lovely, knowledgeable service. As for drinks? There is something special for everyone. The funky, period loft style and energetic vibe keeps us coming back and back and back ..

Food is amazing, wait staff are helpful. Have the prawn and bamboo roce paper noodles for small dish - delicious. Little cocktail bar around the back is fabulous for pre or post meal drinks.

We went here on a friday night and we had a great night: the fibe was good, the food was good and some yummy drinks.

Amazing food & service! The best Pad Thai I've ever had. The prawn crackers entree was tantalising on the taste buds as were the scallops. I will absolutely be coming back next time I visit Melbourne.
