A great ambience and music accompanied by superb food. Each dish was delicious. Surprisingly wide range of choice of beverages. Service was efficient and subtle. Very enjoyable evening.

Great vibe, its was busy, but it added to the atmosphere. Service was quick and staff are engaging. Food was fresh and compelled me to try something new.

Great food, great service, great price. A bit loud but it's the atmosphere. Highly recommend. Especially good if you have time constraints as staff are very accommodating.

As always, the food was great and the service was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately the volume of the background music and fellow patrons shouting to be heard over it made conversation difficult.

The food and atmosphere of Cookie was fantastic. What really made it enjoyable was the staff, the knowledge of the menu made choosing and matching the flavours and textures easy.

The food was delicious, service fantastic and expresso martinis perfect. I would have no hesitation recommending Cookie. Always good to go with a few friends or family and share a few dishes between you. The pork and lamb should were brilliant.

We have been to Cookie several times - the first time the real deal breaker was the extensive wine list - it was amazing! Then we ordered the food - it was delicious and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful and really knew their menu and wine list. It has become a favourite place for our family to meet up for lunch on a weekend as we are spread over Melbourne and it is central for us all.

The lamb panange was really good and I liked the fried rice as well. It had great service. Come to cookie it is amazingly great.

This is the place that is iconicly and the epitome of all things Melbourne. It's hip, it's eclectic, it's funky, with cool professional staff and a great mix of food from different cuisines, and a fantastic selection of drinks from local or international sources. The food is excellent, amongst a sea of patrons and vibe that cannot be matched anywhere else. This is the place u wanna go to impress friends visiting from overseas and want to experience Melbourne cuisine, or a date to show how cool u are. Rooftop bar is always the best around, whether u go beforehand or after dinner. There's no wonder why any cool young Melbournian would know Cookie. Oh, and I only rated the noise to be 3/5 because it's a happening atmosphere!

Funky and lively atmosphere with delicious food and drink, and very helpful staff. Went on a Friday night for my husbands birthday and was impressed by the service of our waitress, and the promptness of our food coming out and most importantly the unique taste of each dish was superb. We had the scallops, drunken prawns, prawn firecrackers, and chicken rendang - will definitely try these again (especially the drunken prawns). The cocktails we had were choc zombie (pretty strong) and monkey paw, and highly recommend the monkey paw yum! Looking forward to heading back for more.

The atmosphere is fantastic. Great wines. Great service. Food was delicious. I went with a colleague. We had drinks near the bar then sat down for dinner. I think the experience of the interesting food and great wine gave us loads more to talk about and the lighting and decor made it comfy and fun.

Quality food, great service and an awesome vibe. First time we have been back to Cookie for a couple of years and we definitely will not be leaving it that long to be back again.

Food is always delicious. However, service is substandard. Would recommend taking a later dinner booking to avoid disappointment with wait times on both food and drinks.

Cookie is my go-to restaurant in the city for any occasion - I always know the food will be amazing and anyone I bring along sings their praises. The spritzers are a great way to kick off dinner and the wine list is extensive. Enjoy!

Busy and noisy but food and service was fabulous. We had a great time. Waitress was also subtle at hurrying us along so the next patrons could get the table.

Desert was great! But rice in main meal was not fresh and they sat us in a dark corner. Would consider trying again. ☺

We really enjoyed the food, there was quite a lot, however the service wasn't the best as we had to constantly remind the waitress that we were waiting for drinks etc.

The food and service was good. Loads of choices for food and drinks. We didn't have to wait long for the food at all and even though the restaurant was packed, we were not rushed. A little noisy for conversation so lip reading would be a real advantage!

Quite a venue for a bustling Thursday night. We ordered the beef ribs, pad Thai, green curry and barramundi fillet to share between three people. Plenty of food and quite enjoyable.

Fantastic food! Great to taste different small amounts from the small dishes menu. The flavours are amazing. Prawn firecrackers, Taro dumplings with chilli sauce and Betel Leaf Cocktail are amazing. Great staff and fab cocktails. (lychee martinis) Loved it!

Made a reservation because I knew the restaurant was going to be busy. However, when my friends and I got there we were still required to wait. Food was great/consistent and the service staff that helped us that night was friendly and professional. Overall, the food did compensate for the wait so I would still recommend everyone give it a try.

I have been to Cookie on a number of occasions and this was by far the best experience. The food and the service were both excellent . I would highly recommend Cookie to anyone looking for a city restaurant that takes bookings and serves great food from an extensive menu.

Food was tasty, a little pricy. Very noisy bustling place. Toilets were an absolute disgrace. Worse than public toilets. It took the whole experience down a few notches.

We have four main meals to share between 4 of us. Two were delicious and two were below average. One of them over cooked and dry and the other not enjoyed, quite tasteless and not what was expected.

Great service sensational food. Massive drink selection. Traveled from central qld to dine here with fruends. Five spice chicken and soft shell crab is worth a go.

Good service, good food - especially roti bread, venue is not too loud, extensive drink menu especially cocktails - some are very strong - worth a visit.
