Food and service was great but some of the details that make it a really great experience were missing. For example with mixed entrees for four people we were not given individual plates and had to dive into the dishes with our forks. Also no serving spoons for the communal dishes. No salt and pepper or even Parmesan offered at any time. Quite slow to fill up water on a very hot and muggy evening. The waitress was very engaging though, and the food was very good

Probably a bit more attention to the table service, I had to catch the eye of the staff to order a meal. The amount of people there did not suggest to me that it was too busy for the staff. One further thing was every table should have chilled tap water with glasses that didn't come straight out of a glass washer at around 50 deg C. We had to ask for water twice and the temp was tepid so I used the wine cooler to cool the water.

Delicious pastas and salads, friendly and attentive service. Most enjoyable dining!

Went to have dinner with an old friend and waited for about an hour to get our meals due to technology issues! Our orders didn’t go through and the staff made sure our orders were prioritised. They also gave us a complimentary bowl of chips so that was really nice.

Little bit cramped and we were seated in a very tight space near booths, the bar and a walk way. very hard to walk in and around tables

This place would be perfect if they just removed half of the light bulbs. Less light equals more atmosphere. Service was fantastic and food was pretty good too.

Great restaurant and friendly service. We would have appreciated being given a bottle of water and glasses on arrival. A wider range of wines would be good too. We will definitely return though.

Went here for a birthday dinner. Service was fantastic, food was AMAZING and handled the groups various dietary requirements brilliantly. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic food! Busy for a weeknight, which goes to show the quality of the restaurant.

We were seated between an ATM and stack of chairs under The stair case of a loud bar...it was clearly a last resort seating area, a picnic table was our seating which is nothing like the other furniture. As soon as we were taken to this area I immediately asked to be seated elsewhere and was told they were fully reserved (although there was a couple of empty tables inside - assuming they just couldn’t be bothered changing the seating arrangement on their booking schedule). We were then waiting 10-15mins for someone to visit us to offer beverages and bring us water. ( it felt like they forgot about us because we were sitting in the broom closet) Food service was really quick (not really a good thing,when I say quick I mean we weren’t even half way through our beverage when it came). we didn’t have any Cutlery, napkins or seasoners (again, assuming because this shouldn’t have actually been a table for customers to use). After waiting 10minutes for the waitress to bring me cutlery as I requested, I ended up getting up and asking for them again at the front desk. The Gnocchi was below average - I had a piece of my partners pizza though and that was really nice. Finally, just as we were finished eating, the (what appeared to be) owner came over to advise they can move us to another table now - Really? You had rushed to have us served and eating to now advise you want to move us after our meals are finished? I just pointed to our plates clearly indicating that we have finished now and he just said “great, all good then” and walked away.. how bout addressing the clearly annoyed customers and discussing their poor experience instead of running away? The manager was kind enough to comp our drinks ($25 total), however, it would have been more of a gesture if he had offered this before we had to list out everything that went wrong (which had already been relayed to him throughout our booking). Very disappointed in this experience as I have never had an issue at the Elizabeth street chain. Advice; 1. Don’t take bookings that you clearly cannot accomodate. 2. Check in with your customers. 3. Perhaps you need to consider hiring more staff, so you can cover the basics of service ie; water on arrival, beverage order on arrival, cutlery and napkins on the table....

The lasagne was cold but they did do another one and not charge. I will go back anyway.
