Crento Italian Restaurant - Collaroy

I took a friend here for her birthday dinner, and everything we ordered was delicious. The prawn starter and the seafood marinara were delicious, and both served with the best napoletana sauce I've ever had. We had the creme brulee and panacotta for dessert, I absolutely loved the brulee, and while I'm not one for pannacotta myself, my friend said it was perfect. Couldn't have been happier, and the service was great. I'll be coming back!! Thankyou!

Authentic and great tasting Italian cuisine. I had the prosciutto pizza which was excellent and my husband had the special risotto which he loved. Byo.

Quality of ingredients for our meals was good. I thought lacking in flavour and a bit heavy handed with the garlic but thats my taste. We dined early and not many dinners however was quite loud ( all hard surfaces will do that) . Staff were very good nice and clean .. we will be back maybe try the pizza.

No veal available for mains, we also asked for our leftover pizza to take home and we were given wrong box . Service was good. Noisey people doing deals noisily on phone.and kids very misbehaved

Unfortunately the pasta for me and my partner was very salty , normally I like the food there , this time was no enjoyable

Ordered entree but forgot to bring them out just a bit annoyed but pizza were great

A birthday celebration with my 92 year-old mother, sister and brother in law. We were well looked after, the food was delicious.

A couple of meals weren’t that good pasta was cold abnd veal was tough

The staff and the food were amazing. So good i came back the next night and got a take away order

A very relaxed pleasant experience , I am Italian and often hesitant to eat Italian food in restaurants as I am used to home cooking Italian but yours was great - we all loved it

food was below average for what you pay. one particular staff member was very rude to us throughout the evening.

The food was superb. The initial greeting was ok. However no menu no water for at least 5 mins. I had to go up and ask for both. The service is not sharp at all. Needs much better attention from the waitresses. We had a two drinks delivered seperately. Empty plates were not taken away? They do not keep there eyes out on all the tables at all. Very nice girls but need alot more training on serving tables unfortunately

The food was great and had a very good menu (variety). Service excellent from friendly wait staff. We all enjoyed the evening.

Great food We all had the Salmon and it was amazingly yummy. I usually order pasta which is also good. It’s my favourite restaurant on northern beaches. Keep up good work

This is my second visit to Crento in recent months and on both occasions my meal has been delicious. The staff, especially the young lady waitresses were delightful and engaging

Really great food and very reasonable prices! There is so much Italian in Sydney it's hard for this cuisine to stand out, but the food here was outstanding. I was impressed with this restaurant.

The food was great! However there was not enough wait staff to keep on top of good service. It was very busy everybody arrived at the same time. Need to stagger bookings! Needed to ask staff more than once for glasses for wine & if we could order!

Great visit and beautiful food. Waited a little while when we initially arrived for a drinks order but otherwise, good.

Great food and well priced, didn’t like a waiter person, he was very glum and unfriendly looking, the young girl waitress was lovely.

We booked at short notice. The service was phenomenal. The Bouillabaisse was full of seafood and the veal scallopini with mushroom sauce great.

Great night. Sensational food. The deconstructed bruscetta was plenty for 2 people, not one, as I found out. Mains (veal) were beautiful. We'll be back.

I've been to Crento many times. It is one of my favourite places to eat out. Unfortunately, I think they might have had staffing issues because the service was very poor and not in the least 'friendly' as it normally is. I normally leave a substantial tip. I did not leave a tip this time.

The food was fantastic and great coffee, too. Good service also.

Lovely meals all round, great antipasto, mains, pizzas, and pastas and great friendly service.

It's a great restaurant with delicious food, but it gets quite noisy near a large group.

We appreciated the special touch of a candle and dessert on the house as it was the evening before our wedding. Thank you!

Food was excellent service no problem we were very happy

Ordered the mussels in white wine course on an empty stomach (I was starving). The mussels all tasted terrible to the point that I believe they were off. My stomach has not felt great for the rest of the day. Table service was also poor, not attended to again after our first order was put in (perhaps they were u see staffed). The rest of the food was ok.

Crento had great food. It was easy to park and the staff were helpful and attentive.

Scallopine was thin and overcooked. Tough and chewy. Topping was meagre.

Good service but not entirely happy with the meal, for $34 I would have expected more than one very small potato, and the veal was chewy. I ended up going to kfc afterwards as I was still hungry.

Excellent food and service. We ordered Pizzas and Pastas. Both were very good

A nice meal, but seated near the main door on a cold night, our second visit, will go back again for sure. Will be even better when the weather not so cold!
