But what truly set it apart was the service—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. It’s rare to find a place where both the meal and the experience exceed expectations, but Don Camillo nails it. We left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Perfect Bruschetta Al Pomodoro fir entree, ample size shared with my mum. She had veal for main (as she always does) and I decided to try Fettuccine Alla Bolognese Pasta. Everything was absolutely perfect and Don Camillo never disappoints. Thoroughly recommend but I suggest you book as even on a Tuesday night they were beginning to get very busy

Liked the atmosphere. Risotto not creamy, a bit dry. Scallopine meat bit overcooked. I had duck. Potato gems tasteless

Ambience and service was excellent. Scallop pasta dish along with vegetables and garlic bread was very good but the carbonara dish was well below what you would expect from a decent Italian Restaurant: tasteless and put together without care. Would return but would not order the carbonara again.

Easy to book, wonderful decor, excellent menu & wine list, friendly & efficient staff including personal service from the owner, delicious food, reasonable prices, easy parking. It’ll become a favourite & I’m already looking for a reason to return…none needed, really

Great atmosphere, attentive service delicious sticky fig pudding with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream.

Excellent overall - my mate had an issue with his main course and a little difficulty in getting the right coffee but we had a great night overall.
