One of Sydney’s most talked-about upscale Chinese dining establishments, Dragon Boat Chinese Restaurant on Darling Drive is merging authenticity with elegance, because after all, why not have both? This gourmet Far Eastern restaurant features mahogany tables and chairs, Asian decorations and stunning lighting to give you an experience that’s simply otherworldly. Featuring fusion dishes alongside more classic Chinese options. Dragon Boat offers so much more than your usual sweet and sour pork. Try chef recommended dishes like iced conch, braised shark’s fin with abalone soup, sandfish with oyster sauce or some Cantonese-style steamed chicken and take your tastebuds to South China at this sophisticated Darling Harbour restaurant. There are plenty of other options as well, including vegetarian-friendly dishes, rice specialities and desserts. Booking ahead is highly recommended.
We booked a table for dinner only to get there and discover it was closed. Not impressed at all especially as we spent $20 on a taxi to get there!
Good views, lovely big round tables. Duck banquet very good, price reasonable
We had a poor experience at Dragonboat. The food was good but the service was poor they ran out of dumplings, the drinks took forever to get to us and the service was unattended. we usually have great service but this time was crap. will not be returning again.
