Have enjoyed many meals here on prev occasions. On this evening (it was early dinner) the wrong drink was brought (still water rather than sparkling). This was swapped quickly and then we ordered our dinner. Our meal order was taken. Very modest wait time..perhaps ten minutes.we enjoyed our glasses of wine. One of our two dishes was lamb cutlets, as a main. What arrived was lamb shoulder in pieces with half a plate of pit bread. Presentation not so good. The lamb was appetising but was chewy and tough. We were pressed for time and did not send this meal back. Our other dish was an entree size described as “large” Aust gulf prawns with tomato salsa etc. the prawns were small and unshelled. Overall, our Eros Kale experience on this occasion was disappointing.

Plenty of food - shame dessert not included. Good selection of wines.

Food was tasty and well made. Salads fresh and very much like homemade. I had a lamb shoulder dish, small portion of meat and didn’t seem like slow roasted lamb was like yiros meat which was a little disappointing. Grilled chicken was nice. The service was friendly and welcoming. We lacked drink service though. We got asked once for a drink... we started with a cocktail and would have ordered wine and an finisher if we’d been asked. Instead we had the one starter drink and drank the water on the table. The staff were all lovely but seemed disorganised even though there were plenty of staff working for the number of people.

We have been there on lots of occasions before and really enjoyed it. On this occasion I am sorry to say we didn't think that it was as good as we have known it to be. The food wasn't as tasty, lamb not of good quality, Octopus could have been better. Our friends had a banquet, and by the time they got their final course they were actually over it. All pretty average sadly.

We were greeted and served well. We were not made to feel rushed and the Restaraunt has a comfortable feel. The food was alright. But that is it, it was ok! The wine we bought was a 2014 bottle and drank well. The only letdown were the dregs in the bottom of several glasses, leaving that crunchy feeling. The worst of it for me were the 2 men sitting in the middle table near the till. They appeared to know the staff. These 2 men leered at every girl in the room. It was very apparent and most uncomfortable. That left the worst taste for the evening.

We have been to Eros Kafe many times. Each time we go to Adelaide it is one of the Restaurants at which we always eat. Staff friendly, food great atmosphere very good.
