We ordered 2 platters for 4-5 people (to share between 9) but 1 we received was only for 2 people. When we asked for another they said they didn’t have any more meat. We had the last 2 x VBs and the last 2 x recorderling ciders. The food fe got was nice but service and stick levels appalling.

The food was delicious the restaurant is very nice and formal

Took our order only to be told they could not fulfil it. When opting for something else they didn’t have that either. Got a refund and left. Tables around us were dirty with peoples finished plates etc, no table service, no instruction on where to order etc Won’t be back and dodged a bullet.

The food is fine, but the sauces need to improve.

We shared a meat lovers platter, well presented, beautifully prepared, lovely fresh salads & sauces. Loved the experience 👍❤️🎅🍷

We had a lovely meal share with our family The waitress took a while to take our order as her English was not good The meals were way to big but delicious The prices were very reasonable Thanks for a lovely night

Staff Xmas break up, food was excellent service was great. Only one thing, drinks ordered everyone got their order except for 1 was forgotten and had to ask where it was. Apart from that everything was great Highly recommended

Sunday free kids meal is now gone due to menu change. The beef lover platter now serves slow-cooked beef as like 50% share of the platter, yet it tastes like the frozen one off supermarket shelf. Won't come back again.

A good range of excellent food on the menu and service was prompt and accurate. A very enjoyable evening.

All meals were beautiful and big servings. Great cocktails also. Shame on kids eat free Sunday anymore but wont stop us from coming back.

Steak night at Fat Chef Ballarat was spot on – perfectly cooked steaks, great sides, friendly service and awesome value. Can’t wait to go back!

Only thing we didn't like was a there was a photographer roaming around taking pictures and filming our food being served.. Made us feel uncomfortable and this could of been avoided if the staff and the photographer had actually informed us and spoke to us about him being there. Just a bit of courtesy would of helped

Ordered the surf and turf waited a 55 minutes for it and they were not busy in their asked for medium to well done and still come out mooing in then he asked me if we like the food I said it was okay. It wasn’t cooked my as I ordered and it goes sorry we’re still trying to get our menu right not happy

Staff were lovely and helped us with access for a wheelchair user. We had one of the platters and everything was really nice. Can be hard to have that many elements and it all be tasty, but it was! Well done fat chef

Ribeye was very chewy, even the second one and barramundi was a little fishy but everything else was really good. Brilliant service and very polite staff.
