Located on the ground floor of Hotel Lindrum on Flinders Street, Felt Restaurant provides a stylish retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD, with its chic decor and menu of seasonal Australian fare. Taking its name from the green felt lining of the hotel’s famous billiard table, the decor reflects the building's historic past while modern touches create the perfect setting for a special breakfast, brunch or dinner, attracting locals and delighting hotel guests. Some of the delicious options you’ll find on the menu include small snacks like crispy fries dusted in rosemary salt and smoked mac n cheese, through to larger plates like the truffle duck ragout with hand cut pappardelle, tomato confit and grana padano and the market fish of the day served with walnut vinaigrette and Italian coleslaw.
Great location for a relatively quiet meal in attractive, comfortable surroundings. We were a group of 4 and we shared the degustation option. All of the courses were tasty, so we can highly recommend this option.
