This is not your generic Italian restaurant. Francesco's offers a niche, compact menu. Some of the flavours in the street food selection reminded me of my Italian mamma's cooking. The lovely waitress was more like a hostess welcoming you to dinner in her home. The dining room had a warm and cosy vibe. It was truly a diniing "experience". Thank you

My partner and I made a late reservation for dinner after work. The food was very good and the service was just right. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed vegan dishes - the lasagna on the menu and the special pasta with artichoke sauce, finished off with chocolate fudge. Everything was prepared well and presented nicely. Although Francesca's is out of the way for us, we'll be sure to return

Great food and service. Loved the choices on the menu and shared our plates. Was just warm enough sitting outside. A little warmer would have been good. Appreciate it’s difficult though heating outside

It was an amazing experience. The food was incredible as always. I was a big fan of the stall and I’ve had their food for years. There isn’t a dish I’ve tried that has been ever been. It’s all spectacular and I’m not exaggerating. Would absolutely recommend to friends!

What is wrong here. Only one person on tables who did a fair job, pleasant, polite etc but.. food lacked sauce and had the impression it had come from the freezer, the lower part of the food was cold! I would expect a cannelloni to have discernible shape, filling and sauce. Not so . It was a compressed ,solid square. The seafood pasta was a mash of? A local gem that wraps you in a warm hug of rustic charm. Super tasty dishes. I had the seafood risotto and my husband pesto gnocchi. Sides of caramelised fennel and charred broccolini- divine. And then the chocolate soufflé - comfort food of the highest order. The waitress says that’s why she works there - I can understand why! Excellent in every way. We will be back!

Always love the experience at Francescos, The atmospher is very warm and welcoming starting with the friendly and attentive staff members and which just adds to the warm decor in making you feel relaxed and welcome. Then there is the food which is just delicious.

The mains and entree were fantastic as was the wine and the general ambiance.. Unfortunately the the chocolate soufflé we had for dessert tasted like it came from a packet cake mix. All in all we really enjoyed our meal and our time at the restaurant we will be back one day only no desert this time

I love the traditional Italian flavours. There's a new Venitian cook book out now but why buy it when we have it all at our lips.
