This is the second time I have been to Francesco's in the past couple of months - the first with my vegan family of five, and a few nights ago with a non-vegan mate. Fantastic on both occasions. I love the ambience of this place, and the service is great. Food is plentiful and delicious. My mate was so impressed that he even ordered a plant-based main course after sharing a plant-based platter and arancini with me for entree. I'm sure the food for non-vegans would be just as impressive. It's great to have such a high standard of restaurant that caters brilliantly for all types. Thank you Francesco and team!

The Venue was very atmospheric & the staff were friendly and the food was delicious! It was a bit too noisy inside to converse without shouting & there were no options for smaller serves of mains so I felt like there was a lot of food wastage. I was surprised that the venue were ready to close before midnight on a Friday night also.

Wonderful fresh, tasty dishes - the warm fennel and broccolini a stand out. Friendly team, diverse menu, cosy room - all in all, a wonderful experience.

Our first visit and we loved it. Fantastic options for vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs. Our risotto was cooked to perfection. We will go back as there are so many amazing dishes to try. The bonus for me was to meet Chef at the end of the evening. A great selection of wines and plenty of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The wait staff were excellent and they paid particular attention to any allergies or dietary requests. If you only try one thing, you must try the Pane.

As always, excellent service and quality! Earlier the same day, I asked for a 'birthday surprise' for dessert - and I was not disappointed with the surprise! :-) We all ate till we were quite full and loved the quality of everything we ate. I only wish it were possible to go to this restaurant more often without pre-booking first.

Our second visit here...and last for awhile during the virus crisis. The meal was plentiful and tasty. The menu is concise but enough choice. Service is friendly...a great community restaurant.

I booked in for my step-father's belated birthday celebration. We had a very good visit and for a small restaurant it was more spacious than I expected, but still very cosy and familiar. The set-up out back kind of reminded me of family celebrations back when I was a kid! The entrees were very good and we all loved our mains. Some of us had desserts, which we also enjoyed - but we had to share them, since we were already so full! My short black was also very good - I needed no sugar! Two people did not show, due to the virus scare and we were extremely lucky to get in on the last night before restrictions began. We all thought this was a great pity and will definitely be back as soon as dine-in reopens! If convenient, we will order takeaway sometime too!
