food was good for the price, staff however needs more knowledge on seafood as when I asked if they serve Crabs the waitress didn't know what a crab was. A bit strange for a seafood restaurant

It was lovely! Would love to be there for lunch but unfortunately our short stay at Surfers Paradise may not permit. Gabriel, our waiter was delightful - attentive, thoughtful and in every way professional. Could not be faulted

The service was slow. The food, while tasty, was overpriced and small. The waitress did not know where the toilet was or how to gain entry.

Food was excellent and service very good; the vegetable tajine & barbecued octopus were particularly good Comfortable seating and spacious layout added to a pleasant dining experience, highly recommended

I have dined here several times with family and friends. I look forward to eating the seafood every time I visit the Gold Coast. The service has always been excellent. There is a good variety on the menu of entre and main course. The seafood selection is very good. There is also a good choice of pasta steak and chicken meals. The drink menu also has a wide selection and is reasonably priced. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the staff are attentive and don't try to rush you out of the door.

Such an amazing venue with lovely and attentive staff. The seafood platter was huge, and everything was cooked to absolute perfection. Loved every moment, thanks Galaxy!

Food was average, our waiter was rude, didn't talk and couldn't pour a beer for the life of him. We were put in a boxed corner and then they decided to make a 2 person table next us a 5 person table, so we couldn't leave our table or receive our food without having these poor people constantly having to getup and move.

The service we received was terrible. Whilst the food was delicious the service was disgusting. We had to ask for the cutlery and a napkin. It took 25 minutes to bring us our drinks. We waited to be seated for 5 minutes with no one else waiting. The entree came out the same time the main meal was also. Majority of the staff barely spoke a word of English.

Accomodating and friendly staff, 3 course meals for 8 came out fast (included complimentary garlic bread for the table), never without a drink, all dishes tasted superb and presented beautifully, and best of all - the cost was fantastic ($55 for 2 X 3 course meals, including seafood).

Great location, food and friendly staff. Courteous waitresses made the experience comfortable and welcoming. Food was prompt, great portions and quality. Location is great opposite broadwater, relaxing and the restaurant is clean and confortable to dine in.

Dinner for two 27th December 2016. Made feel very welcome upon arrival by Gentleman followed by waitress with big smile, friendly and good service. Extensive menu, troubles deciding & Husband and I were both very impressed with our choices of Entrée and Main as we were with our table location by the road. Very impressive gesture upon leaving, ladies got a scarf for Christmas and I absolutely LOVE it. Not a local, but would put this place on our list if we return to the Gold Coast.

Food was delicious definitely come back. The only issue we have is waiting for our ice cream for desert and the young waitress was very rude.

Terrible service, terrible food and not worth the Groupon voucher I paid. The Management were good though they could do very little except gave us a nice bottle of wine to compensate. Maybe it was the Groupon deal, or maybe it was Christmas time that affected it but I would not recommend going there again.

it was wonderful and the staff are most friendly the food was fresh and the display was bedautiful i would definetly go back there again soon

All my three dishes were great. One of my friends didn't enjoy her dessert however my food was all great. I think its great value for money. The service was excellent. We had a great guy serve us. I'll be back!

They were lovely and the food was great but very busy on the night we went so at one point I think they forgot about us until I reminded them an hour later that we had not ordered,

we have try other restaurants over last 12 months but galaxy seafood restaurant is oustanding,great service, faboulus food good quality and very generous in quantity,certainly we are going to return there on other ocassion as it comes to us, we have also have a look the menu and is very extensive with modic and affordable prices, 10/10

We always like to return back to the Galaxy. Food is fantastic, staff is friendly and we always feel very welcome. We will return again soon.

This is our Favourite Restaurant, the service excellent, the food excellent, and we highly recommend this restaurant to everyone all our friends family and their friends and family as well

Hello there The food was great the reason for rating of 5 rather 6 was because i ordered a glass of sav blanc but instead was served a glass of Chardonnay

Service .....food .....brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will return. We, being older, did at times find it a little difficult to hear our conversation with the large table of diners behind us as well as music playing.

We were told that the restaurant could not accept the "OUR DEAL" Voucher and to make a claim back to the Company. Just as well that we had a credit card or would have been up the creek! A similar meal was offered at the same price so in that respect was ok but was a little annoying having to pay again. Had to ask for a glass of water twice, this should be an automatic service these days. Staff should be trained to offer water once client has been seated. Our prawn cocktail was served on a dinner plate which was a little strange and only had 2 prawns, so that was disappointing. Main Meal and dessert were fine. Just feel meal wasn't up to usual standard for Galaxy.

After finding out the steak we wanted had run out we ordered a different one when it arrived they had mixed up the order the waitress was good we had been before and that's why we went back again would I return not sure

Pleasant surroundings and good service. Entree of dips was tasty, & lobster mornay fine. My mixed grill main course was just okay, the steak a little tough but the chicken and lamb on sticks were tasty. Using the Groupon voucher it was good value.

The resturant was excellent. The venue is in a prime location with a great view. The service was above average and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The meal was fabulous and i would not hesitate to go there again.

The resturant was well staffed,very efficient and the meal was excellent with no complains in any area. I would recommend a return trip as we were so satisfied.

My partner and I were totally pleased with all aspects of this fine dining establishment. The food was delectable. The service was great. The wine was delightful. One certainly would want to return to this most enjoyable setting and luxuriate in a most pleasant and delectable dining experience.

Good location. Very good service. Food was lovely. Other dishes we could see looked really good also. Would have not known about it except for buying a voucher so good advertising of your restaurant.
