When you dine at Gino’s Italian Restaurant, you’re not only heading out for dinner – you’re becoming a part of the Barakat family who have been running the show here in Brisbane for over 33 years. They’re a passionate bunch, and as a result owners Sayed and Deborah love nothing more than serving up time-tested family recipes that locals just can’t get enough of. You’ll find an extensive array of Italian classics with plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options to boot, in a relaxing and cosy space that’s ideal for catching up with friends or having a special meal with the whole family. You’ll find Gino’s on Kingsford Smith Drive in Hamilton, where reservations are absolutely essential.

Beautiful itialian in a family friendly relaxed setting. Service was wonderful and all food was cooked to perfection.
This place has always been great! Great service, quick and delicious food. Value for money. I hadn't been since I was a kid, took my wife there tonight. The atmosphere is just how I remembered it to be. We had a reservation at 5pm, arrived a bit earlier. Plenty of parking out the back, and we were openly greeted at 4.40pm, the kitchen was prepping but turned all the lights and music on. We were served right away. Thanks for the stellar service, will be returning soon!
Now, we mentioned it’s a bit of a family affair at Gino’s Italian Restaurant, so you’ll find Sayed and Deborah’s children Dominique, Simon and Charlotte and cousin Eddie running the show and giving this Hamilton restaurant a real sense of warmth, as a result. You can really feel the passion! And what about the menu? Well, this is where Gino’s Italian Restaurant really shines. Start things off with a round of oysters to share, calamari served with fresh lemon and cocktail sauce and some Italian-style garlic prawns topped with lashings of olive oil, lemon and parsley.
Then, it’s time for the main affair. Some of our favourite dishes to sample include the famous Simons Special fettuccine made with fresh chilli, bacon and prawns in a Napolitana sauce; eggplant parmigiana smothered in Napolitana sauce and fresh parmesan; veal saltimbocca layered with ham and cheese or the seafood pizza topped with prawns, anchovies, olives and calamari. With plenty more besides, you can be sure you’ll find just what you’re craving at Gino’s Italian Restaurant. This Brisbane icon is located on Kingsford Smith Drive directly opposite Hamilton Park and the Brisbane River – just be sure to make a reservation ahead of time to avoid disappointment!
